This story is just like "Mr. Thompson, please be gentle". Now let's see if He'll force the doctors to abort her pregnancy and she loses her uterus because of it. Only then when can can't have anymore kids thanks to him, he'll tell her about giving her son to Daphne to raise.

This is an outstanding piece of work, and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment I experienced within the novel. It was a breath of fresh air, akin to warm summer evenings amidst the constant rain and wintry themes that I usually immerse myself in. The translator did an excellent job capturing the emotions and tones, and I can confidently say it will earn a special place on my favorites list.
yeah it's good but there's 2nd hand embarrassment in this novel and sometimes i don't wanna read it, but i still do because the novel is great. but they never updated the novel again : (

ermmmm. . . this novel is honestly not bad. . . it's just that. . . battle after battle after battle after battle. . . if it's a manga it should be great but in novel form, i don't think so. especially when the characters are talking about the regions and map.
I just stumbled upon this novel again after I dropped it at ch. 137 for some reason I can’t quite remember. I think I found it rather boring, to be honest, but that kinda contradicts all the good reviews it’s getting. So… did I simply not read far enough? Does it get better? And if so, at what point? Cause if it’s like in the middle of the novel, I don’t think I’ll have the patience to even get there.
This is my second encounter with this extraordinary novel, and I must say it's a true masterpiece. The storyline, character dynamics, and translation are all exceptional. The relationship between the main characters, both MC and ML, is incredibly captivating, even though their development is gradual. The past events may be heart-wrenching, but the slow-burning romance keeps the narrative engaging, never allowing boredom to set in.
The plot and the portrayal of the antagonist are well-crafted, providing a satisfying reading experience. The translator has done an outstanding job in bringing the story to life in English. Overall, it's a fantastic read that I highly recommend.
