very interesting book
After chase and rui. I hope you will write about lei and taylor or about eon eno and lia. But this story also good. Please update everyday yea. Love you.
I'm not a big fan of this type of novel, and I was so bored that I decided to give it a try. At first, the novel was quite engaging, especially with the depth of the characters' thought processes and how the main character manipulates her childhood friend.
I would have given this novel a better review if it had ended after he confessed his true feelings for his childhood friend and they started a normal life together. However, the author seems to have other plans, intending not only for the main character to have one lover but to make the entire country his lovers.
If you're as bored as I was and don't want to think too much, this novel might be perfect for you. Just turn off your brain and dive in. The smut scenes are also very well described, which many readers will likely enjoy.
Women love boy love another boy??
sh*t ??
Part 2:
I was absolutely infuriated reading the MC just being dumbfounded when dealing with situations he could easily have avoided if he'd actually been more attentive of his surroundings (like for god's sake, you're a cultivator, how can you not even notice someone peeking at you from outside your freaking door). Besides, there had been so many situations that could have made him progress his character and mature him mentally if he had gone through them on his own, but no, the author just had to have him use his cheat code (Ling Xi) as a mental crutch. Some people would say that these kinds of situations are fine, since they would help mature him mentally but they never did (at least up until the 300s).
Besides that, the world building in the first 300 chapters is a little below average but I've read worse, so it passes. The plot is pretty much non-existent at the start since, for the majority of the first 300 chapters, the MC really has no real goal for getting stronger really.
BRO THE TAGS?????
Fate be like lol
can you please tell me about the second novel and its name
Cool, gonna start the LN this week. tyvm
But looks like I'll have to read the first 5 volumes elsewhere tho since it seems slimereader only has it starting at 6
just read till 600 and you will find he act as *d**t till 220 and he contradict himself more than 20 times what's more important is he is not taking sides but still taking sides and blaming other for the death he is causing.
it's like this - he believes other party 1 is week they should not attack 2nd party but once they start doing better for themself and start gaining better grip in fight MC will come and kill them. and going to say in end - I TOLD YOU ARE ALL WEEK YOU CAN'T BEAT 2ND PARTY. lol (what's more he believes he is still not taking sides)
I embarked on this story initially due to its promise of a tragic romance, a genre that I currently enjoy. However, despite the reviewer's mention of a happy ending, I personally wished for a more complex or bittersweet conclusion. The first 20 chapters revolved around the main character (MC) adjusting to being stranded and reluctantly learning to coexist with the love interest (ML), whom he initially feared.
As the story progressed, I found ML's personality increasingly irritating, particularly when he reacted negatively and treated MC poorly, though not physically abusive. His excessive self-centeredness, as evident from his constant mirror gazing and self-praise, turned from amusing to frustrating. He often misunderstood MC, causing the latter to tiptoe around him due to his narcissistic nature.
Though ML didn't force MC into anything, he did display possessiveness through actions like kissing and hugging, which could be seen as an emotional manipulation. MC's character seemed ordinary, driven by the desire to reunite with his family and survive, and there were moments where his feelings for ML were ambiguous, seemingly more out of necessity than genuine affection.
The writing was generally good, with only minor errors, but the lack of a compelling plot left me uninterested. The introduction of ML's brother or other sudden developments failed to captivate me enough to continue reading, so I decided to discontinue the story.
