Though the number of chapters is still limited, I feel compelled to say this: outstanding. Disregard the critiques of those who couldn't reach beyond Chapter 20; just dive in. The portrayal and progression of the characters' emotions are a delight to read. I highly recommend giving it a serious read – truly exceptional.
It's not cosmic horror if the perspective is among the ranks of the gods. The point of cosmic horror is that the characters are insignificant people held to the whims and actions of beings far greater in scale and scope than they can possibly comprehend.
Does the ant understand the gravity of the boot that steps on it? Does the man wearing the boot appreciate the life and struggles of the ant he just stepped on in his kitchen? Cosmic horror is about fighting against the powerlessness of your own being in the face of the universe and all of it's horrors. An ant can only hope it doesn't draw attention to itself, and if it does, it can only try to evade the eyes of beings much greater than it can understand. That's what cosmic horror is about, mere ants trying to survive in the face of a coming god.
Is this like “The Oracle Paths”? the concept and stuff seems very smilar.(Although I didn’t read it yet)

Btw oracle paths is a goat novel for people wondering if they should try it out but the update consistency is really bad its only at 1.1k range since 3 years ago its been release.
