Can we just take a moment to appreciate how well-developed this friend group is in like three chapters? Three. Chapters. Tong Hua is the youngest at eighteen, entered university at fifteen, and is basically a golden retriever in human form—except she's also a coding genius who can lean over and discuss algorithms with Xia Lingxi mid-flight. The contrast between her cute kitten energy and her actual intellectual capability is what makes her so fun to read. She's not dumb, she's just... enthusiastic. There's a difference. Su Qingyu is the rich one, obviously, but she's not just a stereotype. She has this soft spot for Tong Hua that feels genuine. When Tong Hua does her pitiful kitten face, Su Qingyu melts. "Alright, alright, stop howling. Your big sister will show you what a real ice and snow world looks like." That line alone tells me everything I need to know about their relationship. Su Qingyu acts cool and dismissive but she's the one making it happen. Jiang Mo is the sporty one, the protector. She's the one helping Tong Hua with her gear, calling out warnings, threatening to turn her from beginner to "at least someone who can stop." She's also the one who gets teased the most by Su Qingyu, which suggests a comfortable banter dynamic that feels lived-in. Xia Lingxi is the quiet planner. She doesn't say much but she's the one organizing everything—checking itineraries, studying during the flight, being the voice of reason. Her gentle voice is described as "like a babbling stream, carrying a soothing power." I love that description. And then there's He Sui, who appears in chapter 2 and already has this established dynamic with Xiao Yu that feels like a decade of friendship compressed into dialogue. He's cocky, sharp-tongued, and clearly skilled. The fact that he skis toward the beginner slope after noticing Tong Hua—whether by coincidence or design—tells me the author is setting up a meet-cute, and I am ready for it.
I totally agree John only should gave Sherry full custody of Capris and leave her to be happy with someone who actually appreciates her and care for her
I seriously love this but.... The grammar mistakes make it hard to read its surprising that the last chapter didn't have too many mistakes... And also I think some part was cut off.. And also the end was a cliffhanger and I don't know what to say... Anyway its an amazing novel (book) I rate it a 4/5
