The book was commendable for its minimal confusion, falling more into the typical mold of its genre. Despite that, it stands out as excellent. It's worth mentioning that this is actually the third installment in a series, and while there isn't extensive recapping from the first two, some supporting characters who make appearances to assist in解决问题 have appeared earlier in the series.
"I absolutely loved it! Yes, my morals might be a bit questionable, but honestly, it felt great. This story was a breath of fresh air - finally, relatable human characters instead of perfect Mary Sues or Gary Stu types. The female lead (FL) wasn't a pushover; she was intelligent, feisty, and unapologetic - what a delight! The male lead (ML) was loyal and equally clever, forming a perfect pair with no unnecessary misunderstandings and always supporting each other. The so-called 'incestuous' aspect, set in ancient China, was well-handled as both knew from the start that they weren't actually related. Highly recommended! Where can I find more like this? ?"
It's卓越的! The world-building is incredible, and the characters are intelligent and well thought out. There aren't excessive info-dumps; events unfold organically. The atmosphere of anticipation is fantastic, and I've been captivated. However, I had to stop around chapter 200-300 as some plot points didn't make sense to me. The biggest issue was the scene where the protagonist had a sexual encounter with a goddess to create a demigod offspring and form an alliance. Afterward, she bestowed upon him a powerful ability (extremely difficult to obtain) that was supposedly incompatible with her primary, incomplete, Light power. These were supposed to be Life and Light, yet they seemed unrelated. Furthermore, the full Life power granted her control over elves, which wouldn't extend to other races, making the partnership seem like a risky investment.
There was a note early on by the author himself that *nc*st would not be something he went down. This is why alot are mad. But stories can change and all we do is read.
Obviously that changed but as soon as Victor got home and his mom mistook him for a wall I foresaw stuff changing.
I don’t remember just skip every 5 chapters and find Richard being in jail
This novel lack vocabulary,,,, it’s really getting on my nerves

I came here after reading the Manhwa, it has 66 chapters and I guess its around 95~ chapters for the novel.
Currently on chapter 284, despite the short chapters, it feels like the story hasn't progressed much.
The completed novel has a total of 280 chapters so this novel should be translated in 2 more years unless the translation team drops it. If you have the patience id say wait untill it is completed
Every character just makes you want punch them in their liver.
Stupid MC.. please kick Niya or kill her... what a waste of time ..
