Great story. Steamy scenes and an interesting story line. Kept me hooked from the first chapter. Well done Author
Worse book ever !!! Kept changing characters and poorly translated
Okay so let me just say—this chapter sequence is deceptively simple. On the surface it's just a newlywed couple making candy and visiting family, right? But the way the author structures these scenes is actually brilliant. You start with the candy-making, which feels like pure domestic fluff, and then you gradually layer in these tiny revelations about who Jiang Wangchuan actually is. The black bear story drops like a bomb in the middle of what's supposed to be a lighthearted chicken-catching scene. One minute you're laughing at Lin Suhe covering her eyes at the bloody chicken, and the next you're like wait, this man has three scars on his chest from fighting a bear that was one and a half times his height. The narrative arc here moves from intimate domesticity outward into the wider world—first the candy pot, then the walk through rice paddies, then the aunt's house, then the chicken coop, then the family gathering. Each scene expands the scope just enough to keep you engaged without ever losing the emotional center, which is these two people learning to be a family. The pacing is deliberate but never slow. And that moment when Jiang Wangchuan says "she came looking for me herself"—that's a plot point disguised as a humble brag. It tells you everything about how their relationship actually started without any exposition dump. The author trusts the reader. That's rare.
This is a delightful, heartwarming, one-on-one romance novel that revolves around two adorable characters. Each arc is filled with lots of affectionate moments and "dog food," showcasing the strong bond between the main character (MC) and the love interest (ML). The MC is a cool and collected gong, while the ML is a sweet and possessive shou.
Misunderstandings between them are quickly resolved due to the MC's clarity, preventing any confusion. Arcs often feature intimate scenes, playful slapping, and lots of affectionate displays. The story is simple yet charming, with a gentle romance and no angsty drama.
Despite losing their memories in each world, the MC and ML retain subconscious feelings, drawing them closer even without recollection. This accelerates their connection, and the reader can't help but feel happy with the increasing sweetness.
However, I deducted one star from the rating because the novel contains a few plot inconsistencies. For instance, in the first arc, the MC claims to have known the ML since high school, but the ending backstory contradicts this, with the ML being an orphan supported by the MC. Additionally, there's confusion about their meeting in the real world and the supposed engagement in the first arc.
The transmigration aspect is not adequately explained, leaving gaps in understanding. The reason for the MC's accident and the ML's involvement in healing is unclear. The translation could benefit from better proofreading, as there are pronoun errors and occasional use of unnecessarily complex vocabulary that detracts from the reading experience.
Despite these issues, the novel is overall enjoyable, with its cute and fluffy nature making it a great choice for a light, heartwarming read. I highly recommend it for those seeking a feel-good romance.
man where are the new chapters... I can't wait...
Honestly it is a fun read, I enjoyed most of it. Till the ending, it was so rushed and was just sh*t. Other than that, a really good novel
