This webnovel has turned into a piece of garbage the last 200 chapters are mostly trash, only reason I’ve managed to read up to this point is because I have invested my time into what was originally a very good webnovel and I wanted it to become good again but after so many garbage chapters I am dropping this webnovel.
Awesome and relaxing novel can someone plz recommend me something similar specially with same concept in this one super powerful dad xDi think i watched few of them similar to this but being a father was a new twist i also watched returning from the immortal world in which he really missed her mother and was finally back
Translator is totally blowing it. They pad the word count by duplicating chapters. Chapter 79 if IRC is half the chapter and a copy and paste of the first half to "finish" the chapter. Chapter 82 is a total duplicate of an earlier chapter. Dropping this piece of garbage translation like the dumpster fire it is.I blame the translator for this 90% for the fraud and Webnovel 10% for not fixing it after it's gone on over 7 days.Quality control, quality what?
First off, Joy Of Life is a novel. It has the pacing, characterization, and plotting of a novel. If you come in expecting the usual face-slapping webnovel trash, you'll be disappointed. No, lie down, grab a cup of tea, and properly savor this. Characterization is where Joy of Life shines. The enemies feel like real people, with their own goals, values, and interests. Hell, some of 'em go on to become friends! As for plotting and action, it's well done. Fight scenes feel tense, the protagonist gets his badass moments, and generally nothing feels too gunky and overdone. If I have one complaint, it's that Joy of Life's protagonist--it's hard to pinpoint what he wants, really. Who is he? What are his goals? The emotional drive of the story, or at least the protagonist's contribution to it, can seem hollow sometimes. In short, this story is a 5/5 by the standards of webnovels, but as a serious novel...it's good, but nowhere near great.
Slowly reading this hidden gem and this hidden gem should be uncovered and shown to the world! This novel borders on realism and the characters inside are deeply fleshed and some of them are very relatable. This novel hits every genre as well. It hits comedy, action, romance and even slice of life etc. It needs a bit more action to be honest but the world-building and the interactions make it fun. There are a few dark scenes that would make your breathing stagger and a lot of funny scenes that would make your nose exhale or laugh out loud. 5 stars!
In the genre "Games" - This novel is a rare gem. In my opinion it is the best. (read most of the games novels, but this one is special. You are free to have you own opinion - me too.) I do have to remark, that some of you might need to 'toughen it out' in the middle of the novel - I heard a few people dropped it. Why? Because of some routine (grinding) gaming in between. As a gamer myself, I did not notice it that much. - Maybe because my instincts told me, that hard work is necessary in every aspect. And heroes do not fall from the skies. The MC is a 'God', and his skills are OP - in game. Honestly, he is also just a normal human with his flaws. He did not get his skills by luck, but by hard work from the start of 'Glory' onwards, which is the name of the Game in the novel. The flaws and antics of the MC and all the other characters, is what makes the novel charming. It does not only focus on the MC, and you fall in love with (almost) every character that is part of this world, and want them to have more "time" in the novel. I can recommend it to anyone that is interested in game novels. But also for those who like shameless MC's and for some comedic relief. Tiny spoiler:The MC has to make his character work and use all his insane abilities to make his plans possible. There is no sudden one time" killing a monster for finding the most OP equipment in game" or "having a secret class that makes the best gear ever to make up for skills" *cough cough* Rather, it is portrayed that only somebody with experience and insight in every class and crafting can do what our "God MC" does. And of course a ton of shamelessness! this is the most important skill! ;)
