If you’re gonna lecture someone about how a power system influences social standing and interactions please do it right. First of all even if everything you said is true ur point itself makes no sense. Wym “he can” THE WHOLE ARGUMENT WAS ABOUT THE WHY NOT THE HOW. Nobody just gets up and becomes Batman because they feel like it. Sure you could chalk it up to “the snake influenced his mind a little” but not to the point of becoming a new entity. Also moving back to your beautiful response, I didn’t really care about him being ruthless and killing people. I cared about how he did it, no hesitation or remorse just cold and apathetic without any character growth or mind numbing pains or any explanation on how his demeanor became like that (snake excuse coming up lol). To answer the final question, humans main survival trait is our adaptability in all circumstances no matter if it’s hard or complicated we will survive. This story kinda reminds me of Abandoned Empress as they have some similiraties, like how the ml did not paid any attention to the fl, how their baby died because she witnessed him having an affair with another woman, and how they ended up together in the end.
Do not waste time with this, nothing makes sense, the genres are confused by the fact that the character dresses up as a man all the time, and some transitions between present and flashbacks are very bad.
Me personally I like the adapted story of the LN, more than the pre adapted version of the WN which came first. The story arcs and the characters just sit better in the LN than in the WN so i think you should read the LN on Slimereaders or buy it off of amazon lol. Keep in mind that even though the WN was made first, the LN is what the manga and the anime show are based off of
