Great story. Unfortunately, the book has a lot of errors and sometimes the author used the wrong character names.
I LOVE IT. I read all the currently available raws with my limited Japanese skills and the help of machine translation, and I’m now bookmarking and stalking it on Syosetsu. The light novel edition has fantastic illustrations, great editing, and additional chapters. I highly recommend it to anyone who can read Japanese! It includes all the J-RPG tropes I’ve been hoping for, woven into a well-paced and engaging story. I also really appreciate how the author develops the world while gradually revealing the protagonist’s past life and the backgrounds of key side characters. While it’s not groundbreaking, it’s well-written and thoroughly entertaining.
Initially, it's enjoyable, but the repetition becomes monotonous and even exasperating. The main character (MC) claims to be an anti-hero, yet he consistently ends up assisting everyone. The pattern goes like this: Random individuals, be they women or men, approach him for help. The author sets up a scene where the protagonist debates not helping, playing into his supposed anti-hero persona. However, when faced with a character like Yue who convinces him, he ultimately caves in and aids them. It's frustrating when the MC fails to adhere to his own principles.
This clichéd scenario repeats itself relentlessly, and the supporting cast of insufferable harem members leaves readers wanting to see them suffer. The MC's actions make him a massive hypocrite.
I decided to write this reflection at chapter 108. I wholeheartedly concur with Spoon's assessment of the main character (MC). Over a hundred chapters in, his character development seems rather limited. His obsession with his childhood friend, whom he hasn't seen or spoken to since he was five, remains strangely intense and one-dimensional. When the character eventually appears, she turns out to be disappointingly bland – a typical 16-year-old high school innocent, defined solely by her connection with the MC. She lacks depth and engaging qualities.
The story initially sets off with a strong foundation of revenge, providing a valid reason for the MC's animosity towards nobility, which he clearly despises. However, after the first act, the focus shifts, losing its momentum. The revenge plot fades, replaced by a self-discovery journey, which introduces new friendships and comparisons between the MC's upbringing and the rest of the world.
The MC himself is portrayed as stoic and overly humble, often to the point of being insulting. Despite reaching demigod-like abilities in combat and various skills, he consistently downplays his accomplishments, even when interacting with acquaintances. This becomes grating, as he repeats similar谦虚 responses in almost every conversation, regardless of the rapport with the listener.
In essence, while the story has potential, the MC's character development and the lack of significant interactions or depth in other female characters detract from the overall experience.

It's just that it's kind of boring and feels a bit dragged that's it. But it's common to feel dejected, coz u read more than 2000 chaps so mostly you will not be satisfied with the novel endings. This one falls in that category. There are a few arcs in the mid too that are a bit boring. But overall it's a good novel.
