CatasOR8
Why is it in every fight there is like 17 people just watching and once one gets beat they say "help!" and another guy shows up stronger, and repeats the cycle until they all come one by one. Its like a mf cultivator conga line I swear.
Does anyone know why there any updates?
It's almost morning and I for some reason decided to make plans to start re-read this novel. I think I last read this book like 2-3 years ago and I remember nothing at all. The only thing I remember is that I stop at the point he was going to fight a strong angel which was awaken by some weak angels to protect them or something and the strong angel went after the MC's (girlfriend) because she is a other half of the strong angel.

Their is a high chance I am just blabbering nonsense because for once I am sleep deprived and second I don't have that good of a memory and third to leave this comment as a marking.

The most disappointing aspect isn't merely the protagonist being a shallow stereotype without depth; the issue lies in how, despite primarily being narrated from his point of view, the story lacks coherence and authenticity. He feels like a mere tool for the author, allowing events to unfold without any meaningful development, growth, logic, or emotional complexity. The narrative often reads like a tedious list of facts, akin to flipping through an encyclopedia, with one formulaic event following another. If you choose to read it, I'd advise skimming over the majority of it.
In essence, this web novel can be likened to grinding in video games, where only a minuscule fraction provides genuine value, while the rest serves as padding. There are occasional moments, particularly during intermissions, where world-building and character exploration are attempted, but even those are often overshadowed by repetitive fillers. It's as if the author is constantly pushing pizza or soda as a plot device.
The story is concise yet emotionally powerful. I adore it; their love is truly captivating. It has secured a spot among my top 5 favorites. Although he didn't physically consume her heart in the end, her love was embedded in every loaf of bread she baked for him. The connection between his longing and the rain that fell每当他思念她,天空就会下雨 was heartbreaking. As he wandered the world, he collected tales to share with her upon their reunion, cherishing their connection. The final scene brought back memories of a memorable scene from my beloved Korean drama, Goblin. Indeed, the story shares a similar sentiment – without her, he was a melancholy Taotie king, yearning for reunion.
True, translation also plays a major role. The problem that arises for the fans later is like you wanna recommend the wn to a friend but couldn't because you get embarrassed by just the SSS prefix, like you know the story is good but nobody gets a very good first impression just because of the name.
The chapters before them are gonna be painful to read
