This worth a read despite not being completed?
I hate to say it but you're better off reading something else.
The ending was rushed as if the author had grown tired of his own story and just wanted to end it.
There is a harem but barely any romance. He proposes to them out of nowhere and honestly I wish I hadn't read this. Wasted all my time :(

WTF I WAS READING THE SUMMARY! WHOT!
I would initially classify this novel as a masterpiece until the Hotoya Village arc, but subsequent parts fell short for me. The protagonist, who finds himself isekai'd into the dark fantasy game "Firefly of the Dark Night" without extraordinary abilities, initially exhibits resourcefulness, using his in-game knowledge to navigate his perilous circumstances with the assistance of yandere characters. However, the shift in the Hotoya Village arc sees him engage in reckless combat, consistently caught off guard, and lacking strategic planning, seemingly abandoning his initial cunning. This transformation made me question his isekai status at times.
The change in tone is also a point of contention. The earlier chapters were intense, with graphic violence and torture scenes being common. But post-Hotoya, the brutality significantly decreases, with the Aoi flashback arc being much milder. While I understand the author's intention to tone it down, the abrupt shift feels inconsistent and detracts from the overall experience.
The world-building, however, keeps me engaged. The vast and intricate setting of "Firefly of the Dark Night," with its complex plotlines such as the youkai's vendetta, internal power struggles within the Onitsuka family and court, and the yandere girls' loyalty, makes the story compelling. If it weren't for the decline in quality after the initial arcs, I would undoubtedly rate it higher.
Hence, considering the earlier excellence, I give this story three stars, with the majority of my positive rating stemming from those early, engaging chapters.
