The political intrigue and external conflicts don't particularly captivate me, but what I found most engaging were the portrayal of omegas. The omega resistance storyline, particularly involving Ling Yu and Rosen, stands out as one of my favorites, filled with longing and dramatic moments. Ling Yu's character adds humor, and I enjoyed the dynamics between the main four characters.
While some parts may be predictable, they are still enjoyable. Each character has a distinct personality that makes you invested in their journey. However, my main critique is the abundance of romantic pairings – almost every character ends up with someone, which can become overwhelming after a while. As a fan of Lin Yuan and Caesar, their relationship was my focus, and Ling Yu and Rosen's development was captivating from the start.
Despite this, I started to lose interest in the other pairings later on. Overall, the story is solid, delving deeper into the omega experience within a harsh society. The translation is commendable and effectively conveys the narrative. It's definitely worth reading, and I'm eagerly awaiting future translations.

The narrative was fantastic, but I must point out a minor issue. Early on, I found the main character frustrating because he lacked any distinguishing traits beyond magic, which made him blend in. Additionally, knowing about the future yet being inadequately prepared irked me. The story and characters were excellent, and the translation was satisfactory, despite a few errors. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but there's certainly room for improvement. The story didn't leave a profound impact, unfortunately.
