is side story important not understanding any sh*t there
to much wow. how did you even get away with this lol.
Ok sure. As for martial world,i read it 3 times already. I'll recommend a good one when i come across some.
The narrative is polished and the translation is top-notch, both crucial factors for my reading pleasure. Though not groundbreaking, this book caters nicely to fans of its genre. I appreciate the author's handling of point-of-view chapters, which don't feel forced or irritating.
While there are common drawbacks to this type of story, a particular issue I have with this one is the underutilization of the protagonist's unique plant-based ability. Initially, the novel emphasized the significance of this skill in turning the protagonist's life around, but I feel the author could have delved deeper into exploring its potential and creative applications. For instance, the character briefly uses plant-based tools like makeshift bombs and adhesive slime, but these instances don't quite capture the full extent of the skill's capabilities, especially given the title and the initial setup.
I haven't delved too deep, but the story is indeed engaging with an intriguing plot, plus the fantasy-bl genre appeals to me. However, my main issue is the repetitiveness in the writing. The author constantly repeats information from earlier paragraphs within the same chapter, which feels unnecessary and冗长. It would greatly improve the pacing if these redundant sections were trimmed down – to the point where I find myself skipping over them due to annoyance.
Additionally, I'm unsure if the problem lies with the translation or the original writing itself, but the sentence structure causes a headache for me. The author often employs convoluted phrasing, such as in examples like this:
("Let's be on our way," Yuder said, softly opening his mouth, considering the grim situation they found themselves in, while glancing around the room at whatever was mentioned, "Let's be on our way.")
It's unnecessarily wordy and disrupts the flow. My preference leans towards concise writing, which this doesn't quite provide.
I tried giving it a chance despite positive reviews, but ultimately, the excessive dialogue and inconsistent portrayal of the protagonist Yuder – sometimes portrayed as intelligent, other times seemingly slow – pushed me away. The sentence structure was the main reason I decided to stop reading.
Initially, I thought I couldn't continue, but then I realized my mistake: I was reading on the wrong platform. Once I switched to the correct site, I discovered proper sentence structure, which significantly improved the reading experience. Nevertheless, Yuder's character still irks me.
In summary, while the story has potential, the repetitive writing and awkward sentence structure made it difficult for me to enjoy. If you encounter similar issues, double-check the source, as it might be a case of poor formatting or translation.
We will just have to see how it turns out in the future...
Its actually a pretty good novel despite how the summarize goes, the author is not homophobic its just part of the plot and i gotta say its kinda unique since most of the novels have characters that are pretty ok with being gay, this time the mc is not gay at first but will probably be after some time, wherein he will have self discovery and since mc is not really supportive of gay not that he's homophobic, but its probably cause he cant accept that he himself is gay. This will probably be one of the obstacles in the plot and his relationship with his half brother. when the story is about to finish ill probaby do a review by then. Keep up the good work author!
ps:YES IT IS BL, WILL PROBABLY HAVE GAY COUPLES AND AUTHOR IS NOT HOMOPHOBIC, ITS JUST PART OF THE PLOT
this has to be one of the closest representation of this story xD
Yang Ming is now being more bull shitty, 'small characters' he keeps on repeating this fkn word for every weak lil twerp. I mean bich just fkn teach em a lesson. Im tired AF withchu just leaving them alone. They r smol now but bigger shît later on. MF c'mon chapter 1099 and if you coulda just whooped those 3MFs ass nicely or even kill em, everything could be well. But u know what just call everyone a small character and give them mercy that they don't deserve
OH FUCK ME TO HELL...ANOTHER NARCISSISTIC TRANSLATOR WHO HAS TO TYPE AS MUCH AS AN AUTHOR AND THINKS HE DESERVES IT...THIS IS IN CAPS ON PURPOSE TO SHOW MY HATRED TO TRANSLATORS LIKE THIS....THEY ALL THINK THEY ARE A LEGEND AND CANNOT BE REPLACED BY GOOGLE TRANSLATE COPY/PASTE........
I don't go too deep in this novel....but most of it is action as mc basically fights other hell operators and evil souls who escaped from hell...and there is bit of mystery touch cause we actually can't guess what actually happened to strong and old hell operators...and that's all about the story
There is no misunderstanding cause I certainly don't understand a single thing in this story
