The idea was good, but the shallowness of the characters and random events that fit into a wuxia novel, with the goal of making a passive, ***** MC OP is just sad. It was good in the first 5 chapters when the world was being introduced and that’s about it. Became utter garbage afterwards.

Am leaving this book with a five-star, why?Because the world setting and plot are intriguing.I tried my best to hop inside the mind of the author, I know that can't be possible. Only the author can create such a fantasy visual art.

First of all, Cthulhu is a made up fictionary character by an american author to resemble an octopus/dragon monster. The novel title is Evil God Gonfalon so what does Cthulhu have anything to do with this novel? Based on this wrong translation, I bet you the whole novel is a complete mess without reading it.
