Okay so this whole restaurant scene is giving me major plot twist energy and I need to talk about it. Gu Cheng'an literally never serves Sheng Xia food, never orders spicy dishes, never acts this possessive in public. And yet here he is, sliding crispy chicken into her bowl while maintaining a completely casual conversation with Su Yanqi like he's not completely upending every established dynamic in this story. But the real plot masterstroke is Lu Xiaoxiao's restroom scheme. The author sets this up so perfectly—you know Lu Xiaoxiao is the cannon fodder, Sheng Xia even thinks it internally, and yet Lu Xiaoxiao still manages to twist everything. She falls on her own, gets a bloody nose, and immediately decides to frame Sheng Xia. The part where she spots the waitress and thinks about bribing her to testify? That is some next-level villain energy. I literally gasped. And then Gu Tingting showing up and immediately accusing Sheng Xia of pushing Lu Xiaoxiao two years ago? The author is layering so much backstory tension here. Every accusation feels like it's building toward something bigger. The whole scene in the revolving restaurant is basically a pressure cooker where everyone's true colors are about to explode. I'm obsessed with where this is going.
