Typically, I enjoy novels like this, but it's just falling flat for me. Despite that, the translation is commendable; the male lead isn't a despicable character and the female lead is strong. The issue lies in the lack of depth or engaging supporting characters – I've reached chapter 17, and I still don't feel connected to anyone else in the story.
The novel was highly captivating, and I found the cunning main character intriguing. She is extremely focused on her goals and doesn't let emotions get in her way. The translation was exceptional; I'm delighted and grateful that the translator successfully completed the project, as I've often been left disappointed when others abandoned theirs.
Bro did we even read the same thing or what this is one of the worth novel's I have read let me give you context the main female lead looks like an orphan right but turn out she a princess out of no were and the amnesia is part of some weird test then getting help from the mc and return home grandfather comes in and destroy the small and few chapter they mentioned there was a rule that mages can't destroy sh*t willy nilly and the reason from destruction because he's comunner that help her granddaughter out of that place serious mate. Bro go read something good like lord of the mysteries or shadow slave, and if you want a proper xianxia experience read Reverend Insanity or I'll surpass the Mc.
