This novel was surprisingly good, considering I thought the 'win the girl' concept had been overused. Somehow, the author managed to write a refreshing story while still using many clichés and common tropes found in other Chinese novels. Additionally, disliking the novel due to the morality of the main character seems odd, given that you know what you're getting into before you even start reading.

This is fantastic! It's so captivating that I'm still engrossed even after finishing it. The political intrigue struck the perfect balance, and everything was resolved without unnecessary dragging. Not to mention the heartwarming moments, or "fluff" as you call it - they brought immense joy while reading. I can't express how delightful this novel has been.
I highly recommend giving it a try. Even the machine-translated version exceeded my expectations, let alone the translated chapters. And I must commend the additional content – it was a real treat!
After reading the beginning, my thoughts inevitably drift to LoTm, but the power system and narrative feel distinctively original. The character development and vivid portrayal of the protagonist's emotions and plans upon waking up in a stranger's body, penniless and with no memory, left a strong impression. The fantasy elements are intriguing. However, I do notice that the events seem to fall into place quite conveniently for the main character so far. I hope that as the story progresses, the challenges become more complex and require genuine effort from the MC to overcome obstacles.
It's remarkable how fortuitous it is that the first person he encounters promptly enlists him into one of the few reputable factions. Additionally, the spells he possesses, like the glowing finger that comes in handy twice and the one that helps him in an illogical situation, appear almost too convenient. For instance, why would a chef suddenly agree to a card game with the MC after a mischievous child bit his hand and caused a minor injury? I期待看到更真实且富有挑战的情节发展。
