This story had immense potential, but the author decided to conclude it at chapter 95. There were so many scenarios that could have been included, making the ending feel abrupt and unsatisfying, like having a bite of cake and then someone snatching it away. Still, I enjoyed the novel overall, and it’s worth reading to pass the time.
After a re-read, my admiration for this story deepened, prompting me to revise my initial thoughts. There are a few points I'd like to clarify, although there might be mild spoilers ahead.
Firstly, the character development is exceptional, particularly with Dayoung, the protagonist. She endured sexual abuse at the hands of her mother, which led to a realistic portrayal of her coping mechanisms – including a fear of men and self-loathing. Throughout her life, she carries guilt and shame due to circumstances beyond her control. When her abusive parents pass away, her mixed emotions further complicate her emotional journey.
Dayoung's life has been mostly solitary, longing for someone to understand her yet avoiding attention. Lee Kyuwol, the male lead, enters her world, captivating her with his perceptive nature and confidence. His attraction to her is mysterious, perhaps driven by instinct, but he displays sociopathic tendencies – though it's unclear if it's innate or shaped by his environment. While he lacks empathy initially, his genuine love for Dayoung becomes evident through the extras.
Their interactions are intense and well-developed. Dayoung is both attracted to and reliant on Kyuwol, but fears his violent side and his knowledge of her past. She believes she's a sinner, waiting for judgment from him, whether for her mother's actions or her relief upon her death. This dependency turns into a delicate balance, especially in the poignant scene at the lake.
Kyuwol,尽管有问题,但某种程度上与Dayoung形成了一种扭曲的匹配。总的来说,我非常享受这个故事。
Can you read? I never said comments don't give good recs, I said that if I listenned to some cimments then I wouldnt have read some of MY favourites. They then asked me for some of my favs and I gave them some, granted the ones I gave dont have alot of hate comments some of a lot of the ones I like do.
I adore this narrative; it's an exquisite, heartwarming, and delightful read. This重生短篇小说满溢着甜蜜与温馨,摒弃了戏剧性冲突,纯粹地展现了主角和女主角之间真挚的爱情。
Your a real one for this
Guess we gotta have patience????
It would’ve been completely fine if his mother wasn’t in the hospital
I don't know if this irks anyone else, but around chp 970+ pop-up random sentences about a fish named wang and a phone which aren't a part of the story and are added multiple times in each chapter.
I don't like novels where mc is tied to certain organisation where he has to take care of many *ss*s and all.
Omy I remember now this absolute banger of a novel. A silver lining to that malicious wipe
this is the web novel version. just read the ln its better
Although I hate harem and didn't finish this as it is not that good or is a masterpieces, I think it at least deserves a 3.5 / 4 rating. 2.5 is definitely wrong.
