Pumasok ako sa loob at bumungad sa'kin si tito na habang nakaupo at parang malalim ang iniisip. Humarap s'ya sa'kin nang siguro'y naramdaman n'ya ang presensya ko.
He heard, for the second time in the night, the dull thump of FTL's body hitting the floor.
I sighed and tried putting some real-life facts into the situation
"Glen Iris?"
Marie stands outside the tent in the dark for awhile, looking around at their surroundings, before mumbling to herself "If only she could forget him. How I wish she thought of me that much..." Marie then stood stock still for a moment in sulking, before trudging into the tent herself.
"He used the Pyrraium crystals to grant death to his fellow Eternals within the clans, earning the rage of the two powers. Instead of death as punishment, his only repercussion was eternal rest."
"let me review it first ." Miray quickly snatched the file from Rita's hand.
The prince was shocked by the sudden attack of the girl. He felt humiliated and hurt by what he got. Only if he catches the unrespectful person he will punish the girl.
"That's right, I do." She gave him a huge smile and went back to what she was cooking.
I have to talk about the City God Temple scene because wow. The author paints this place with such visceral detail that I could literally smell it. 'Packed with beggars. Old. Young. Every one of them filthy and reeking.' Just three words—old, young, filthy—and I'm there. I can see the crumbling walls, the darkness, the cold ground where Su Wanmei wakes up naked and broken. What strikes me most is how the author uses setting to mirror theme. Su Wanmei once arranged for condemned prisoners to violate Hua Zhiyun. Now she's lying in the same kind of place, surrounded by the same kind of people, experiencing the exact same fate. The temple becomes a symbol of karmic justice—a place where the powerful fall and the forgotten rise, even if just for one night. But it's not all dark. The treasure vault scene is almost comically lavish. Chest after chest of gold, silver, jewels, priceless antiques. A solid gold dragon throne. Dragon robes for both the emperor and Grand Secretary Su—because of course the minister dreamed of being emperor too. The author drops these details casually, like 'oh yeah, there was a gold throne, also a second one for the minister, moving on.' It makes the world feel lived-in and real, like these objects existed before the story and will exist after. The Su residence itself is fascinating—ordinary on the surface, but beneath it lies another secret underground vault. And then another hidden vault beneath the rear garden. 'A cunning rabbit has three burrows,' the text says. This is a man who planned everything, who anticipated every possibility. And yet Hua Zhiyun finds all of it anyway. The contrast between Su's meticulous preparation and her overwhelming capability is delicious. Every location in this story feels purposeful. Nothing is just background decoration.
You're the Heit too, you must know what it's like. The pressure.
That's when I asked, "How do you know him?"
