Such a great start. I am hanging on the authors every word! xxx
Nice story pls next chapter
I admit I'm not the best speller or very skilled at grammar. So I understand if my review lacks quality in writing.
I really like this story so far. It's quite cute. Unlike many stories where the main character (MC) is overpowered (OP), in this one, the MC isn't that OP. They encounter a lot of people who are stronger than them.
(Spoiler: All the guild masters are stronger than Fran and Sword Bro. It might not seem obvious, but they are indeed stronger. The A-rank adventurers are also stronger than our MCs, as stated multiple times.)
Additionally, I love how the sword isn't a complete pervert wanting to look at the young Fran inappropriately. Instead, the sword wants to protect her and would kill anyone who tries to look at her that way, much like a good father would protect his 12-year-old daughter. I find this aspect of the story really nice.
While it's not the best story out there and it's not for everyone, I think it's worth a read and a chance, in my opinion.
I will admit that some chapters have really poor translations, making them hard to read. But that's not the story's fault; it's due to the translator's inability to understand the original story and their lack of care. I'm glad the previous translator dropped it and let this new person take over. The new translator is a lot better and updates more frequently.
This is an intriguing narrative. I particularly appreciate the unique leveling system, where there's no reliance on traditional experience points. The protagonist's abilities aren't due to divine intervention or exceptionalism; rather, he stumbled upon extraordinary circumstances that allowed him to accomplish extraordinary feats.
However, there's a minor issue with the character's initial treatment of some women. Although he evolves later on, this change occurs significantly after the main story, so those sensitive to that aspect might want to consider stopping. Additionally, the protagonist has a designated love interest, which could be a deal-breaker for readers who prefer a more open-ended romance.
If you're seeking an anti-hero who consistently remains angry and disillusioned, this story might not fulfill that expectation. A plot twist involves the MC's teacher, who reminds him of the consequences of violent actions, causing him to reassess his approach. By the end, the character's transformation is evident as he acknowledges Yue's role in pulling him back from the brink of hatred.
Overall, while the story offers a distinctive journey, potential discomfort with certain character dynamics or a preference for a different kind of protagonist might affect one's enjoyment.
This novel is subpar. The protagonist, who appears unremarkable, finds himself at the center of every event due to his lack of skills or credibility, which is implausible. The narrative's core revolves around the MC, which is unrealistic. The "daughter" blindly trusts him simply because he saved her from a deadly attack, even referring to him as 'father' quickly, which is highly implausible, especially given the context of an invading force. It seems like a mere plot device for the author's twisted fantasies.
The MC is portrayed as invincible, unaffected by the war he's caught in, and overly cautious, almost bordering on obsession, over a trivial interaction with a woman. The story reads like an attempt at erotica, with hints of a lolita succubus subplot, but it falls short of depth beyond that.
If you're seeking titillation, there might be some sexual content, but for those looking for a well-rounded story, it will likely disappoint, leaving readers feeling like a cuckolded protagonist.
Additionally, the translator is posting Patreon-exclusive chapters on Novelupdates, which undermines the exclusivity and support system for the original creator. This practice is not ideal.
"Adorable! The main character's lightheartedness increases towards the joyful conclusion, making it a delightful and enjoyable read."
The book is enjoyable, but the ending comes as a surprise. The main character behaves quite unexpectedly, which might make her seem promiscuous. I couldn't help feeling sorry for all the male leads. If you're into reverse harem stories, you might want to give it a try, but be prepared for an unconventional plot twist.
Yeah, like Wang Lin is from Ri(renegade immortal) is ruthless but also kind but at least he doesn't call himself demonic. He literally says I am not a saint, nor am I evil, I am me. Plus before people say that sounds like Feng Jiu Ge, Renegade immortal is the inspiration for Ri and is quite old, started in 2007 I believe. Though Wang Lin's sworn brother Situ Nan is demonic and yeah, I can call him demonic. He is not the Fang Yuan type of demon but more like Bai Ning Bing, he is tyrannical and forces others to bend to his will.
what's RIM???
BRUH i get that most of the dudes read the prequel but i’m here to remind the f*ck*ng author that the mc is MAX not rudra and not any other f*ck*ng side character there’s so much focus on the side characters and not enough on the development of max like there was so many things that could have been explored focused on max but nah the author wants to put heavy focus on what the side characters are doing mainly rudra like cmon bro if u wanted to make another story about rudra then you should have done that stop trying to waste the majority of max’s story focused on his brother we get it all hail shakuni the f*ck*ng great if i wanted to do that i would read the prequel and i can already see the rudra glazers coming in to dislike bomb me so go ahead other than that the story is pretty decent ngl so give it a read if you don’t mind heavy focus on sc
