It's a fun story so far, I'd say about 3.5ish mostly because there's not enough to have a good feel for where it's going.
The premise is that the main character (MC) was a small-time author who reincarnated into a martial arts world, only to be deeply disappointed that reality lacks the romantic ideals of the genre. When people leave their sect gates, all notions of chivalry, honor, noblesse oblige, and respect seem to vanish, and they turn into power-tripping thugs. The martial arts world, or Murim, is generally stagnant. The MC vents his frustrations by writing a (cliché-ridden) regression story about how things "should" be, which eventually makes its way into the wider world.
This is essentially a medieval society where the people have no experience with—or resistance to—modern clichés and tropes. As a result, what the MC considers a mediocre webnovel becomes an instant hit, seen as an innovative and enlightening social critique. Martial artists are inspired by the actions and ideals of the generic novel protagonist, seeking out the MC to ask when the next volume will come out and if he might consider writing about their sect next.
There’s now a rumor spreading that he’s some sort of hidden grandmaster LARPing as a common writer, because how else could anyone make such profound martial observations? In reality, the MC isn’t good at intricate worldbuilding, so he keeps the focus on storytelling and leaves everything else vague and philosophical. This leads to actual martial artists taking inspiration from their own interpretations of his writing and gaining enlightenment, which is then attributed to the MC’s wisdom.
It’s kind of funny how idolized the protagonist from his story has become. The whole situation has exploded out of the MC’s control—statues of the character are being built, and the secret techniques the MC made up are being recreated in real life.
The translation quality is good; I noticed a few mistakes, but no major complaints.

The MC's quirky personality is charming, making me want to be friends with him, despite his occasional cold-hearted moments – let's consider it fitting payback for wronging the Ogs.

The author sort of drops the importance of the #s and his status page is never really mentioned again, but he does bring up the significant buffs and what their effect is at crucial parts of the story when the MC finds incredible items that give him boosts.Also, the story is INSANELY cool for a basic novel like this. The coolest part of all of it is that compared to the truly strong people in this fantasy world, the MC isn't even all that broken. Keep at it, the powers acting behind the scenes are crazy and interesting.
