seriously, too lazy writing.
MC completely loses track of himself as soon as author wants something to change.
MC claims to be one way, clearly is nothing like he describes himself.
faceslap wind-ups are more than a full chapter long and the actual faceslaps are not creative at all and involve all logic to be thrown out the window just to even make it have more than negative impact.
this novel really disappointed me.
the novel was at first interesting but after visiting the secret realm and a while later it turns stupid, I have been hissing ever since and hoping for a turn around but it keeps getting worse, the mc got arrogant and instead of the usual style, he decided to create a sect or something. it absolutely a great novel but it went astray from the what was promised
This novel isn't good but if you want to be disappointed in a unique way give it a shot, you definitely won't like it but you'll certainly feel perplexed by how dry and pointless the whole thing feels, it's weird.
This is coming from a guy who normally eats up sign in novels, even if they're bad I at least read all the trial chapters so I'm actually biased towards this novel but even then I can't get even the tiniest bit of entertainment from this, this is a real slog, I dropped this at chapter 10.
There's not a single redeeming feature to be found here, everything about is dull, lifeless and pointless. 0/5
Good novel but the quality of the translation dropped after the 40th chapter.

It's a good book if you're in the mood for a good cry; the beginning is quite heartbreaking. (Some shi was sad af.)
Though, the main character is quite cool.

Just finished reading the first 20 chapters, and I gotta say, it's a mixed bag. The MC being a Special Ops soldier in a magical world is cool, but he's kinda inconsistent. Sometimes he's cautious and cold, other times he's easily swayed by strangers. The military system has potential, but it needs more explanation and detail. Also, the MC should question his surroundings more instead of just accepting things.
Overall, it's not terrible, but there's room for improvement. Hoping it gets better in later chapters. Keep it up, author!
