I’m really enjoying this book, and can’t wait for updates
love this book.
No words to explain how involved I was in every story. Mysterious, magical and beautiful ❤
Emma Swan’s novels are always exceptionally good ...
I'm here! I've arrived! I've landed, Jess, where you at? I'm waiting for the sequel of this book...... *cries a river*. You just left us with such a cliffhanger. That is sooooi cruel. I'm waitinggggggg
I love this novel, it’s simply amazing....️
This book is so good
As of chapter 190, they have successfully escaped the famine. The remaining 1000 chapters appear to focus on making money and dealing with drama. Additionally, there has been no significant development with the main love interest, and only minor developments with the second love interest, which is frustrating because it's clear that the relationship with the second love interest won't lead anywhere.
This novel held promise, but unfortunately, it falls short due to poor writing and a subpar translation. The high rating is misleading; it's a below-average read marred by a frustrating translation experience. Although there are some moments where the protagonist's character development is attempted, the sudden power-ups within the first chapter feel unjustified and rob the narrative of any genuine tension or growth. The interactions with female characters are contrived and unrealistic, with little depth or charm.
The harem aspect doesn't save the novel for me either, as the supporting characters are one-dimensional and lack substance. Their motivations and personalities feel superficial, making it difficult to care about their relationships or invest in their stories. The protagonist's enigmatic nature is undermined by inconsistent actions and unclear motivations, which hinder reader engagement. The action sequences are lackluster, and the overall pacing lacks the excitement one might expect from a thriller.
In conclusion, this book squanders its potential, resembling countless others on the platform that could have been much more captivating if executed better. It's a disappointment to see a mediocre offering pass off as a promising read.
I think that part is just a translation error.
How? I don't understand, because it was ruined by something political, I saw the movie and I loved it, I didn't see anything political, maybe I skipped it, but it still must have been insignificant to pass it without realizing it
"You know that book you've been yearning for, without even realizing it was what you needed? This is it – it's perfect for me. AHHH, where do I even begin? I absolutely adored this novel; the seamless desk mate relationship with minimal conflict, individual character growth – it was pure joy, making me tear up with happiness.
I'm struggling to find words to express just how much I love it, because it feels almost too good to be true. From the very first page, my heart was captivated. The family connections, the characters evolving, the bonds formed within different classes – it's an emotional rollercoaster. This book has become such an essential part of my life. I can't recommend it enough."
