Why it's just 2 chapters a week now, it's better than a lot of stupid novel on Qidian. Is Qidian targeting me or just my bad luck ? All the novel I dislike have more than 20 chapter a day, and the one I like drop or unstable for god sake why all the stupid harem/ arrogant master/ silly mc with bird brain are release all the time and the other almost drop. So annoying
No depth or logic at all ....................................................................................................................
emotions very beautifully and amazingly.. second is our Mic + Ani..though Ani became naughty day by day but what she suffered and is suffering about her family is unexpected so itni toh baanta hai, swag, style, attitude, little possessiveness and all time her love and fear to loose it. I love her ch
I like the buildup of your story. Massive!!
'You really think I married in just to be your Brother Yan's concubine?' Yan Yu's line is so perfectly crafted. It's arrogant, it's dismissive, and it completely reframes the power dynamic. She's not just Zhou Yan's wife — she's the Governor's cousin. She has military backing. Shen Wan has nothing. That single line tells us everything about the social hierarchy in this world. And Shen Wan's dialogue is equally sharp when she's in control. Her exchange with the burly man at the clinic is a masterclass in calm authority: 'I didn't write the prescription. Whoever did should be responsible for it.' Short. Clean. She doesn't over-explain, doesn't beg for sympathy. She just states the fact and moves on. That's a character who knows her worth even when everyone around her is trying to diminish it. But then there's the Yan Xiao dialogue, and it's a whole different register. 'I told you already — you can't get away!' That's not just dialogue, that's a threat wrapped in obsession. The author uses punctuation so effectively here — the dash, the exclamation mark, the clipped sentences. It's aggressive speech, and it makes you feel like you're standing in the room with them, caught in the crossfire. The servant's line at the end is also interesting: 'Miss Shen, the Governor instructed me to bring you something to eat.' Respectful but tinged with sympathy. Even the minor characters have distinct voices. The author isn't just writing dialogue for plot purposes — each character speaks from their own position of power or powerlessness. Shen Mingyuan's dialogue is the most revealing of all. He says 'Wanwan, Miao Miao is still your older sister... help her out, won't you?' That false warmth, that manipulative pleading — it's the voice of a man who has sold his daughter's dignity for clinic revenue. Every word is calculated. The narrative voice itself is third-person limited, staying close to Shen Wan's perspective. We get her thoughts, her physical sensations ('her heart clenched violently, as if gripped by an invisible hand'), her strategic calculations. But the author doesn't over-narrate. The prose stays lean, letting the dialogue and action carry the weight.
just finish it wid happy ending.you make it unnessesary lenghty
