oh my gosh! I have been impatiently waiting for the series to continue! THANK YOU! I wasn't sure if it was a continuation, until I started reading more into it, seriously, loving the book so far and I still can get over the first three books! How often are updates happening?
Absolutely loved this story! So many emotional twists & turns that just had my heartbreaking. The storytelling, character development & writing just get better & better with every book. Kudos to M. Muse for her tremendously deft handling of some very sensitive plotlines & constant communication w/us

Okay so this whole section is basically one big domino effect and I love it. Yao Qingqing doesn't just react to things—she sets things in motion. Tian Huaihua shows up at her door at night, half-dead from fear, and instead of just being a safe harbor, Yao Qingqing immediately starts asking the right questions. 'Why would she need protective medicine if she's healthy?' Boom. That one question unravels the whole conspiracy. Then the grain distribution scene—she pretends to kneel, tricks the deputy leader into giving her rations separately, and then physically fights off the Shen family when they try to snatch her grain. The plot here is so tightly wound that every scene pushes the next one forward. No filler. And the household splitting subplot? That's the kind of thing that feels like it's been simmering since chapter one and finally comes to a head. Grandma Yao's ultimatum to split or lose the eldest daughter-in-law completely—chef's kiss. The only thing I'm slightly worried about is the reservoir construction setup. It feels like the calm before a storm, you know? Like the author is gathering all these characters in one place for something big. I just have a feeling.
