There is an abysmal romance line that barely qualifies as one—it’s more of a joke at the expense of the reader and common sense. And then there’s the second predictable element of the story—the shock of everyone around. The characters are like puppets, devoid of any depth or individuality, thinking with a single, uniform mind. This isn’t just a poorly executed story that had the potential to be a classic in its genre; the author went out of their way to destroy any interest.
It's a sweet story that I really enjoy... ?? When I read from the first chapter up to chapter 7, I love it because it doesn't have too many twists at the beginning.
I genuinely enjoyed the story, with well-developed characters that had a strong connection, despite being somewhat limited. The main character was engaging and had a complex mindset, without causing any discomfort in the narrative. However, there were two issues that prevented me from giving it a perfect rating:
1. The protagonist's lack of foresight, as they seem to overlook impending tragedies that hint at darker consequences (although nothing dramatic has happened yet).
2. The repetitive nature of the story after Chapter 250, where the author retconned the plot and focused more on superficial aspects, such as comments on a streaming service. These comments became one-sided and chaotic, with overused "laughing" effects that grated on my nerves.
The author eventually lost interest or direction, turning the story into a cycle of rehashed content. While I initially had fun with the novel, it ultimately felt like a weekly, mindless read due to its Nisekoi-like treatment. I'm adjusting my rating from 4 to 2 and wouldn't recommend it to others, though I can't change the score now.
