It was truly fantastic! Although I typically lean towards romance-heavy novels, the fact that this one also delved into the FL's (Female Lead) childhood caught my attention. Initially, I didn't have high expectations, but boy, was I pleasantly surprised! I found myself completely absorbed in the story, reading it in just two days – even MTLing (Machine-Translated) the untranslated parts, which were surprisingly clear.
I absolutely adore the FL's character, her amusing antics, and how she forms unexpected bonds within the palace. If you're looking for a light and heartwarming read without heavy drama like heartache, tears, or betrayals, this is perfect. The supporting characters were all charming as well.
The romance aspect is equally delightful. The FL and ML (Male Lead)'s relationship is a treat, filled with endearing moments once they finally come together. I wholeheartedly give this book a 10/10 recommendation!

Many aspects have been discussed, but I'll focus on the pacing issue that bothers me the most. Up until Act 4 (Chapter 50), the story进展顺利，but from there, the author introduces four heroines, each with their own challenges. The problem lies in the author's inability to juggle multiple plotlines simultaneously. As a result, only one or two heroines are active per Act, while others are largely sidelined. In Act 4's four heroines, for instance, one might appear throughout Acts 4 to 6 without a proper resolution (the author conveniently postpones her confession), while another has a minor role in Act 4, none in Act 5, and a conclusion in Act 6 when she becomes the focus. The third heroine, the MC's childhood friend, is the central focus in Act 5. The frustration comes from the MC revealing his true identity late in Act 5, only for a clichéd interruption to occur, followed by separation and no pursuit, leaving readers hanging.
The LN, on the other hand, seems to address these pacing issues better, at least through Volume 5. It stays mostly consistent with the WN up to Volume 3, with minor variations. After that point, the narrative shifts, introducing only two main heroines instead of four, with the first two mentioned briefly and joining the plot in Volume 5. The third and fourth heroines become the primary focus, and by Volume 4's end, the fourth's storyline takes precedence, linking it back to the heroine from Volume 2, unlike the WN's delayed approach.
Overall, the LN's pacing is improved, making the heroines feel more engaged and less like passive side characters throughout the story.

Despite what some might say about her being perceived as weak due to occasional tears (which is a misunderstanding, as she has endured a lot), I find her strength in resilience to be admirable. It's refreshing to see a FL who doesn't need a second chance to rectify her past; sometimes, seeing her confront problems head-on without needing to go back in time for revenge is a pleasant change.
While there were a few minor flaws, they don't detract significantly from the overall story. It's a book that, despite imperfections, still resonates with me."
