The story is ok, the chapters are very short luckily they don’t cost much, BUT many chapter are repeats OR a chapter will stop 3-4 pages in and start over. PLEASE GET AN EDITOR!
I am scared. Even the Introduction is so daring, yet so good, I am a few chapters in, and yet I want to just skip till the end and find out what will just make all things better. But good work Author.

This book is so Amazing!!! I can’t get enough. My daily routine is wake up, get coffee & read the newest chapters before anything else. I have gems & would give all 17 to this book if I could figure out how to do it. I can’t do it at the end of every chapter like it says, it won’t let me :(

"May I ask, Madam Zhou, did you give all your dowry to Master Zhou?" — I SCREAMED. This single line does MORE work than entire chapters of other novels. Let me break down why this dialogue is absolutely elite. First, the setup: the Zhou family comes at her with the full weight of patriarchal entitlement. They expect her to hand over the recipe, to be grateful, to be small. And what does she do? She doesn't argue morality. She doesn't appeal to fairness. She asks a QUESTION that traps them in their own logic. It's brilliant. It's the kind of dialogue that makes you want to stand up and applaud because it's so efficiently devastating. Then Zhou Zhengye's response: "What do you mean, 'yours and mine'? Now that you're in our Zhou family, you're one of us." Classic gaslighting, delivered with the casual entitlement of someone who has never once questioned his own privilege. And Guan Xiyue's reply — "How is it benefiting others? I sold the recipe for money—it's my private property. Since you say I'm part of the Zhou family, then give me a small shop to manage. We can share profits fairly and all get rich together." — THIS is where the author really flexes. She takes the family argument to its logical extreme and watches the family implode because they can't handle their own logic. The He Ziming dialogue is also worth noting. "You, disciple of Pigsy, why are you here?" — the pettiness! The specificity! This is a guy who is STILL mad about a random encounter and it's both hilarious and deeply revealing of his character. He's not a villain, he's just a privileged young man with a short temper and zero self-awareness. The dialogue writes HIM perfectly. And Madam Wan's whispered warning to Zhou Zhengye — "this girl is clever. She revived you. If you hit her, who knows what might happen?" — that line does SO much. It's pragmatic, it's cold, it reveals that the family's protection of him is entirely self-interested. The dialogue here is doing thematic work without ever feeling like thematic work.
Done with the second book in her series. The author is truly remarkable and possesses a unique talent for storytelling. Her ability to capture the emotions of each character and convey them to the reader is a testament to her exceptional writing skills. Only a gifted writer can achieve this.......️...
