Read this a few years ago, not bad 3.7/5. It did drag a little towards the end but was a nice read.
Perfect secret love
There's a particular scene in the book that encapsulates its essence beautifully. "She truly cherishes Fu Yanzhi's words, 'let's go home.' It always conveys a sense of security and belonging for her, as if those words anchor her in a sea of uncertainty."
This novel stands out as one of the most delightful and heartwarming stories I've encountered. Both main characters, Fu Yanzhi and the protagonist, are like puzzle pieces that complement each other perfectly. The female lead embodies a blend of courage and vulnerability, pursuing her love for the male lead (ML) fearlessly yet respecting his responsibilities. Her tender side tugs at your heartstrings, making you yearn to embrace her, especially when delving into her past experiences – it's a poignant moment that evokes empathy.
The ML, Fu Yanzhi, is an absolute gem. He's hardworking, kind-hearted, and caring – a dream partner. Although he might seem distant initially when it comes to the女主角's advances, there's a valid reason behind his demeanor.
I just finished reading it, and the emotions are still overwhelming. The connection between these two characters and their relationship have left me completely smitten.
The narrative is enjoyable and entertaining, much like the author's other works. However, I deducted a star due to a flaw I noticed. The main character (MC) seems overly passive, often being belittled without fault, which can be frustrating at times. What truly irks me is that despite this treatment, the MC repeatedly risks everything to save those who mistreat him. It's hard to relate when someone continually insults and provokes bullying, and I personally wouldn't extend a helping hand.
The scene where the MC, who has a deep-seated hatred towards a girl who caused their mother's death and has shown no gratitude, wants to rescue her from a dangerous situation, just doesn't sit right with me. "No way, pal. That's not how I'd handle it," I can't help but think.
It's quite unrealistic, and there are numerous plot inconsistencies. However, I find the main character's growth and development somewhat satisfying. It's refreshing to see a protagonist who isn't a spineless doormat like many clichéd male leads in danmei novels, who would forgive and tolerate abuse in the name of love. That's probably why I still enjoyed it to some extent. Compared to other thrillers and horror stories I've read, this one might only deserve two stars. But overall, I had a good time, so I'll give it four stars.
The main character might be perverted, but at least he only eliminates those who wronged him. If he were a mindless serial killer, it would have been a different story – I'd have given it a single star. As for Editor B, I couldn't empathize with them since they too exhibit terrible behavior.
"Problematic Little Sister Fell In Love With Me" is a captivating title that piques curiosity, inviting readers into a world where the unconventional meets the heartwarming. This novel likely explores the complex dynamics between two characters, one who might be seen as "problematic" yet finds love in unexpected places. The story could delve into themes of self-discovery, growth, and the transformative power of relationships.
The protagonist's journey may involve overcoming personal challenges, navigating societal expectations, and learning to see beyond surface-level issues. The "little sister" figure could be a vibrant, headstrong少女, whose innocence or quirks create both conflict and connection with the narrator. As they develop a bond, the narrative could showcase the beauty in embracing vulnerability and the lessons we learn from those who challenge us.
Throughout the book, readers might experience a rollercoaster of emotions, from laughter to empathy, as they follow the characters' evolving relationship. The title hints at a humorous and perhaps slightly awkward romantic tale, but beneath the lighthearted facade lies a profound exploration of human connection and the power of genuine understanding.
In essence, "Problematic Little Sister Fell In Love With Me" invites readers to embark on a relatable and entertaining journey, reminding us all that love can blossom even in the most unexpected circumstances, and that understanding someone's flaws can lead to the deepest connections.
The story has potential, bit it's slowly losing the element that caught my heart. Characters are abusive and manipulative, making it hard to understand their mindset. The nsfw parts are good tho... but they're being tainted by "emotional dependence".
to all those who stumbled across this, don't read the MC is the pinnacle of the word p*ssy, I can't begin to recount the amount of migraines I got reading this
