Very nice entreguing story
It serves as a light read or a way to pass the time, but that's about it. It's akin to witnessing someone effortlessly accomplish something so straightforward. The particular moment that pushed me over the edge was when the character nonchalantly kicked away the knife at the villain's feet, saving a girl who was pinned on the floor. This move, though seemingly heroic, raised more questions than answers – wouldn't it have been more dangerous and potentially fatal? I've had enough of this kind of plot. Farewell for now.

Disappointing I must say. I had such high expectations
2 months late... I would if there's only 1 person saying it. (I don't want copy pasting my comment either.) And pointing out at one among the bunch is against my principle as it would be humiliating that person specifically among the many.

Someone said that RI is the sequel to Pursuit of Truth, can someone explain? I don't see how the 2 stories are related.
Alright, while there might be some unrealistic elements, I believe the overall story isn't bad. And remember, don't let the title 'sweet campus tale' deceive you; it's more complex than that. Initially, the first part was truly heartwarming and light, but the latter half had me in tears. Fortunately, it ended on a positive, uplifting note.
I actually appreciate the plot twists and turns. The character development, especially MC's mother, is commendable. I'm curious about Guan Nian's eventual fate – if he were to take on a supporting role, how would Guan Shuofeng react? However, one thing left unaddressed is the identity of the MC's parent.
The first arc was underwhelming, but the second one really shined. My advice would be to either skip it altogether or push through, without losing hope. Regardless, don't abandon the novel without giving it a fair chance. I admit, I made the mistake of dropping this after Arc 1, but I'm glad I gave it another shot. To those with one-star ratings, consider revisiting or giving the series more time.

Gradually, the humor fades, giving way to a more somber tone, transforming the series into a tragic yet compelling tale. Although there are still occasional humorous scenes, the overall narrative has shifted towards a serious storyline.
At first, the MC grapples with her gender transformation, but after a few chapters, it appears she comes to terms with her new female identity, embracing it without issue. This might be due to her past life character, who was perceived as female due to her gentle and emotional nature, possibly serving as a source of strength for her current self.
