I skimmed the Chinese lore parts because they didn't contribute much to the main story, and they weren't much of my interest.
It seems that with my comment I gave the impression that I thought it was bad, but not at all. It was just a comparison with RTW and some flaws I saw in the novel when I read it. Aside from those details, I thought the story was good and entertaining.
But if you are curious you can read the first chapters, I would say that reading the first 100-200 chapters can give you an idea of the general style of the book.
I've read 200+ chapters so far I'd say it's worth reading, I am a fast pace reader I like action constantly so this does not work that well for me but it still works.
P.S: the kinda fast action I am talking about is for the arc to not be spent so much on one enemy and the repeated fucking ignorant insolent "young fucking masters" that every fucking novel milks to the point where I know every word they could come up with.

I like reading this kind of story. No superpower. No revenge. No tragedy. No palace intricts. But interesting female lead. I can calmly read each chapter and enjoy it's development.
