This woman is either the bravest or the most resigned person alive. But the real character moment for me was Wen Qingli at the crime scene. She sees a dead body, assesses it in two seconds, and then immediately calls Lu Zheng—not because she's scared, but because she's thinking like a professional. She's supporting Mingtang, staying composed, and the narration literally says 'She usually looked so soft and fragile, yet in this moment of crisis, she remained calm and composed.' That contrast is everything. The author is showing us that Wen Qingli is not just some damsel who got married for convenience—she's a trained police sketch artist who can read a corpse in two seconds flat. And Lu Zheng? He notices all of it. He sees her composure and it clearly affects him. The way he looks at her after the call—'His dark eyes grew deeper and more intense as they fixed on her rosy lips'—this man is losing control and he knows it.
