Allow me to express, I crave for more! Despite daily updates, it's never enough! Each chapter brims with exhilaration, leaving me yearning for more, as I'm inevitably left hanging at the end ? The anticipation of seeing the MC's hard work pay off and the reactions from other characters heightens my eagerness, making it almost unbearable.
The book is an enjoyable read due to the主角轻松的 philosophy, as he acquires god-like abilities in various skills. However, it doesn't turn into a gratuitous wish-fulfillment story. Despite having surpassed 200 chapters, character growth remains minimal, which is typical for a Japanese novel. As a slice-of-life fantasy, I had hoped for some character development to maintain engagement, but the author opts to showcase the protagonist's divinity through occasional displays, rather than focusing on character arcs.
For instance, three beast girl characters were introduced early on, but even after hundreds of chapters, their dialogue remains limited to simple expressions of gratitude, asking for food, and serving as charming background elements. This lack of progression disappoints in terms of narrative depth.
Wow, I absolutely adore this novel; I first read it way back in 2016. The author has masterfully incorporated almost every isekai trope into the story. It features unexpected summons, abduction, protagonist summons, reincarnated individuals, divine blacksmiths capable of harming deities, high-ranking adventurers, mercenaries, nobles, demon lords, and an extensive array of other elements. In my opinion, this novel stands as the pinnacle of Japanese isekai literature, boasting a comprehensive catalog of these fantastical elements.
I think the default chinese cultivator is more aloof and uncaring than malicious, at least initially tbh. Like they wouldn't go out of their way to kill mortals for the hell of it, but given the flimsiest excuse they would do it.

So uh Lou Jun Yao and his company want nothing more than to kill the thief(Qing Yu), but when she said she will cure Lou Jun Yan, gave them a bottle for the latter's use and left, no one actually stopped her? So how angry are them actually that they didn't stopped her from leaving? Also, did they just believe Qing Yu? She lied about her name after all and it's quite a funny thing to see how the author just made an arrangement for them to meet with that kind of ending lol
I read both stories by Mr. Shah and I enjoyed both immensely. The only thing I have issue with is that even though I know English was not the original language of the author he could have had someone to help proofread his work. I am not an English Major nor did I graduate college but there were so many words that had additional constants and words that I had to decipher before I figured out what the author was leading to. Again, I am not trying to sound disrespectful and I again state that I enjoyed the story. Best blessing, Namaste ?
