Love love love this Beta couple!
I really enjoyed the concept and the main characters. This is the first novel I translated myself, and it's a heartwarming tale filled with tender moments later on. As I've mentioned in my previous reviews, I'm厌倦了那些冷漠无情的女主角和大多数言情小说中的病态痴迷男主角。
Hey guys, can someone explains the factions to me?
I'm looking for inspiration and for the love of me I couldnt find the chapter where the nc explains all the fractions in this work.
I came from the manhwa
In essence, this novel heavily emphasizes character growth, and while it initially delves into the main character's childhood in the first few chapters, the writing improves significantly from there. Other reviews praise the writing, and I concur with their sentiments. However, some criticize the female characters, stating they aren't perfect.
The story focuses on character development, similar to how "Overgeared" gained popularity due to the protagonist's significant transformation around chapter 300. The unique quirks of the heroines contribute to their well-developed personalities, even if they may seem odd at times. The main character, though, is a complex figure. He's not your stereotypical dense or overly kind hero, but rather a stubborn and fiercely loyal "gigachad." His stubbornness can be frustrating, but it's rooted in his Spoiler (trigger warning: content ahead) depression, which adds depth to his character.
I wholeheartedly recommend this novel for those who enjoy drama and mature themes, as it might cater to those preferences. Give it a try if those elements appeal to you.
Legendary Mechanic. It takes a bit to go into high tech territory, but I loved it.
Mc is retarded has 0 Iq and Eq his "sad" backstory is just him being bad at school even though for normal person this is imposible as long as you pay attention its not like he is in med school just normal high and the reason author gave is that his sister is genius so when he was young he wanted to help her and started to learn retarded sh*t and as expect beacuse of that his parents said he was mistake and now mc just gave up on his life and didnt try to improve how he got in high is miracle cause it seems he doesnt even do anything so his backstory is all his fault and he blames world for something he can fix easily. Story is normal revenge story in japanese isekai setting 5 people summoned 4 heroes mc isnt you can guess what happens no need to read after that princess travels with rank 3 when her father is rank7 and can get rank6 guard and suprise she is almost killed by 2 rank3 orcs and another suprise rank3 are ants trash and there are millions of them stupid, read rewiew for more.
Done reading. As I said in previous comment, I don't like romance, but this one is just okay. It's definitely worth the read! Although, I kinda feel like it ruined some of my childhood. LMAO
why there's no update? it's been 8 months d*mn
this is good to read?
It's a nice one until it reached the war area, the decreased level are way too high. To the point it becames ridiculous actually, is it rushed? I don't think so, it's just perhaps the idea wasn't executed very well. Well it has been light and humorous since the beginning so kinda expected it at first but never ever think it will be down to the comedy one. Still nice and enjoyable to read.
And the plot twist thing, i hope the author would give one or two kinda build before just drop it like a bomb, it didn't light it but end up destroy it for me.
3.5 Stars
If I hadn't delved into numerous e-sports novels beforehand, I might have appreciated this story more. The parallel world aspect was a refreshing twist, albeit one that's not entirely unique within genres like IF/UF and QT. The lack of suspense was disappointing, given how the protagonist's overpowered nature made his victories predictable. Although I did enjoy witnessing his character growth, it felt unsatisfactory to see the original DT members treated as expendable, and even those with potential reduced to mere caricatures serving the plot. Most supporting characters were relegated to providing comic relief, which detracted from the overall depth.
Oddly, by the end, I found myself yearning for more from Xie Zilu, despite his initial annoyance. The main couple's dynamic became monotonous, and I wished for a change. Despite my criticisms, I thoroughly enjoyed the escape from my more pressing responsibilities (like studying) while reading. This book provided temporary entertainment, but I fear it won't linger in my memory for long. At least it was enjoyable while it lasted.
Interesting. I read around a 100 chapters when it first released and it didn't give me the kingdom building vibe. The growing stronger vibe was super duper strong tho
