There aren't many chapters available at the moment, but the translation quality is excellent, and each chapter is quite lengthy, making it well worth a read to see if it suits your taste. I'm giving this a preliminary 5-star rating because it deserves some love and attention to gain momentum, and it's always great to encourage the translator to keep going ;)
So far, we have an overpowered Hunter protagonist who has a past life as a formidable knight. As she explores the Hunter/gate world, she starts uncovering peculiar connections to her former life. The world-building is intriguing, and I hope it develops further down the line.
I'm looking forward to learning more about her past and present personal life and relationships. So far, we've only gotten hints.
I discovered the promotional webcomic for this novel by chance, and its intriguing premise compelled me to delve into the novel version. What captivates me is the depth of the characters. Often, I lose interest in webnovels after a few chapters due to one-dimensional characters. In many cases, the lack of moral complexity in villains can make stories feel stale. However, this novel stands out with its nuanced portrayal of characters and their motivations. Both the main leads (ML) and FL, as well as supporting characters, exhibit layers, which piques my curiosity to continue reading.
While there are moments where the FL's family appears somewhat one-dimensional, focusing solely on Riel, I attribute this to their deep concern for her health and the way their priorities shifted due to Riel's needs. Their actions stem from genuine love, despite their perceived favoritism, which sets them apart from cookie-cutter narratives. The interplay between Riel's illness and her sister's desire for control adds complexity to her character, making her more relatable than a generic villain or selfish antagonist.
As a relatively new webnovel reader, I cannot directly compare this work to others in the genre, but so far, I've found it engaging and believe it holds great potential. Based on my experience thus far, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this novel a try!

I thought this was a world hopping novel, im on chapter 130 and have had no indication of him being close to or even wanting to do so, when dose he leave this cultivation land ? its my least fav kind of novel and at this point im ready to skip this arc or drop.

Er... what can I say... reading this novel kinda makes you silly and stupid. Its not that the translation is bad, but its like the whole plot seems silly (literally stupid). Ive read the few chapters and the plot is being told in third person and the MC is literally an autistic kid, sometimes stupid, sometimes smart. Also, the plot is actually good, just that its stupid ?
I dont know how the story goes but if your into intelligent MC that is cunning, then this might not be for you, unless you endure reading this till the end and find out if he is really stupid or just pretending.

Honestly, this particular Hunter x Hunter fanfiction is one of my favorites among the Chinese adaptations. However, it's a crossover fic where the main character (MC) jumps to another universe, and I would advise stopping after the original Hunter x Hunter arc, as the story loses its momentum from there.
SPOILER AHEAD:
The MC abruptly and callously abandons all the friendships and connections he formed in his previous world, seemingly forgetting them without a second thought. The lack of character growth makes his personality feel stagnant.
As the narrative progresses, the presence of CCP propaganda becomes increasingly intrusive, particularly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline. It becomes so overt that it's no longer a subtle touch, which can be quite off-putting.
Lastly, the love interest in the story is a young girl whom the MC adopts and raises from childhood, intending to give her a happy life. Unsurprisingly, she falls in love with him, and he accepts it, despite his role as her adoptive father. This unexpected turn of events, with the "grooming" aspect, crossed a significant emotional boundary for me.
In summary, while I could tolerate the political undertones and the MC's detached nature, the grooming dynamic was where I couldn't continue reading.
