The narrative lacks depth and the plot fails to captivate. Reading it feels akin to consuming flavorless cuisine; the author's lack of effort to engage the reader's imagination results in a dull, monotonous experience. Descriptions are concise, lacking the richness that a well-crafted paragraph could provide, leaving the chapters devoid of expression and character. It almost appears machine-generated, with simplicity being the story's dominant trait thus far.
I've only read nine chapters, so my assessment of character development is limited, but so far, I haven't found any particularly engaging characters. Initially intrigued by the intriguing premise, reminiscent of Gandalf's growth in "The Lord of the Rings," I must admit my expectations were let down. The protagonist's backstory of being abandoned for ten years doesn't contribute any novelty to the plot; he seems indistinguishable from the typical 'strong transported to another world' trope, despite his origin.
It's premature to give a definitive rating, but based on the current content, I doubt the story will significantly improve after fifty chapters. While it may be readable, I doubt it will resonate with many readers seeking an enjoyable experience.
i would recommend anyone contemplating whether they should read the novel or not to read it ... and read it to 157 chapters ??? I think that's where he made the universe cry in the alternate reality? chapters are pretty short so it's not long.
but if you can't?? then don't start and blame the author for not being good enough. i think he was inexperienced in the first arc but now he's pretty good. he is delivering what he wanted.
