I wouldn’t call it a misunderstanding per say in the usual way. The ML (Lu Yunye) is upfront about liking someone else, and the MC (Shi Yi) goes into the marriage knowing it’s a business transaction. ML treats the MC with respect, if not is clingy when susceptible.Insofar as realization, it’s gradual, and their relationship develops in spite of the whole “bai yueguang” thing.

to me martial world is a one of a kind absolute master piece, it had perfect world building, THE most in-depth explanation of the cultivation system, mc was not op, he struggled to climb the ranks from the weakest of corner of the world of the weakest world out of the galaxy and the weakest galaxy out of billions. He did all this and ascended to the top with the power of the cube to help him, reminder that the cube only gave him holy lord techniques so he had to make his own after he ascended to holy lord or above. anyway im about to rant so let me stop rn. martial world to me is like a second life. Complete and absolute immersion during every chapter, it wasnt a "harem" per se but it also had 4 wives that meant a lot to the mc. anyway perfect is the only word i can use to describe martial world and no other novel can hold a candle to it. Martial world deserves some kind of award idk but its so good i cant even describe it. drop this trash and read martial world if you haven't
