Quite tough to judge this novel, its obvious that many things are lost in the translation, especially in the first chapters, when many important info, mainly about the world setting, are not well-fully presented. Having said that, the translation quality has improved a lot, its actually not bad now.
Anyway the concept is really interesting and well written, the novel has assimilated most wuxia elements and used them in a "modern"-apocalyptic world. The world build has soooo much potential, there is humour, decent romantic relationships, ruthless-kind mc, actually almost everything.
Its really sad that another great novel of chen dong is undermined, this one by the translation in the first chapters and perfect world by its slow beginning and "abrupt" change of mc's character.
I am at chapter 1040 but i am really and really struggling to read further as I dont like the mc and he is too annoying for me and every arc is the repetition of the previous arc in a different place For people who read further do you guys think I should continue reading

oh my lord. the translation is making my head hurt more than it already is. i'm not even in the first 50 chapters and yet am already confused on the seniority of the characters. Madam Li is the mother of ML and his two other siblings, also the mother-in-law of the FL. however, the terms used was like...they were just all same in age. Madam Li calls FL "Sister", and the titles used for the ML's other siblings are "Brother and Sister". in other words, it's messing up the seniority level...i'm so sad. this novel has great potential. i'm just annoyed by the problems stated above :((
