His character feels average to me – not overly powerful compared to the main character (MC). He's been fond of her for a long time but doesn't actively pursue her; he's more of an observer, waiting for her to turn 18. Even when the MC gains popularity among both genders, he remains non-jealous. I don't feel his feelings for her run deep, and he's often absent when she needs him, which contributes to the lack of romantic development.
Despite my disappointment with the ML, the MC, her brother 'The Idiot,' Harry 'The Guy,' and the charming, handsome, and funny Uncle Li Jinye (MC's uncle) manage to salvage the story. I admit, I'm biased towards Uncle Li – he's a cool and dominant businessman, a hilarious character with a family-first attitude. He's affectionate to MC, referring to her as "baby." I wonder if he's single, as he embodies the typical CEO character but adds a touch of cuteness and humor. Unfortunately, he's not a significant presence throughout the entire novel. Overall, it's a mixed experience.
