I started reading this book over a year ago. I thought it was complete. Wait did it stop at an exciting moment, then there’s a book 2. if that’s the case the story so that we know that there’s a book too. Otherwise, this book hasn’t been updated for over a year. How can you do this to your readers?

Wow!!!
am speechless I don't know how to put it in word, words can't describe how great and fantastic this book is, best of luck dear kingmoha more ink to your pen.
The description of the west of the city is genuinely impressive. Military households, chaotic, rough and unruly, the strongest liquor and most unrestrained establishments. The carriage lanterns inscribed with 'Zhen Guo Jiang Jun Fu' swaying back and forth — I could literally see this in my head like a film scene. And then the sounds: shouts and curses, the noise growing louder as they get deeper into the district. Yingtao, the servant girl, pales at the vulgar language. She's never been anywhere like this before. That contrast between the refined inner quarters of Ning Guo Gong Fu and this raw, noisy, dangerous part of Jingcheng is so well done. The blacksmith shop itself — run by a retired Baihu who took an arrow to the knee, whose father-in-law helped him get started. He's not some shadowy criminal element, he's just a guy trying to make a living, doing small favors for military households who are struggling. The world feels lived-in. Every detail adds up: the weapon buyback system, the registration requirements, the fact that people trade weapons back and forth like a informal loan system. This isn't a generic ancient Chinese setting — it has texture, economics, history. The fact that anyone caught causing trouble gets beaten at the yamen regardless of rank tells me this area has its own rough justice system. It's chaotic but functional. I love how the author doesn't just describe the place — they show you how it works through the blacksmith's interaction with Li Datou.
