Love the characters and their growth
I'm not sure of the exact chapter number, but I stopped reading when the main character left the lava dungeon and a girl fell from the sky. Initially, the story had potential, but unfortunately, it devolved into a clichéd teenager drama. As one of the earliest novels I tried, I tried my best to push through, but the excessive focus on creepy romantic scenes became unbearable. Ultimately, I decided to stop. If you enjoy romance, ecchi, and teenage drama, you might want to give it a shot. However, if you're looking for something more substantial, it's probably best to avoid it to prevent disappointment later on.
The author did an amazing job at creating an incredibly dark and twisted world. Omegas are traded like broodmares and have absolutely no rights. They are literally forced to give birth until they die.
And, of course, the main character (MC) is a deeply pitiful, abused Omega whose life is somehow even worse than most Omegas. He is weak, but not in a way that’s annoying. His weakness stems from living in a terrible world where he has no rights, not because he lacks personal strength.
The male lead (ML) seems like a good person, but I really don’t think he is. They try to frame him as a savior, but he’s really just another user treating the MC as a broodmare. I hope the MC finds happiness on his own. Of course, this is a Boys' Love (BL) story, so they’ll probably end up together in the end, but it’s nice to hope!

Shounen ai is basically censored Yaoi meaning there's no explicit s*x scenes and as you said, "less spicy"
Honestly don't bother starting the author barely updates this novel. He has been focusing on his other novel. Come back to it in a year, maybe he will start updating this more often.
