The story is really interesting and likeable, the characters also have nice Designs especially the MC , the world background is also pretty good along with writing quality over all an solid 8.5/10
if read it before loving it to if you gonna doing it please don't stop half way and finish it I like to listen it while working so please less ....... or______ that really distracting
An amazing novel, a definite must read for all those peeps out there. So first is writing quality, which I hope and believe is completely top tier. If it isn't then please come and get into my pants about it, cause I'm the editor and it's my job to make sure the writing is as tippy top as possible. So yeah, if they're any mistakes, you all can blame it on me. 5 stars for this of course.Next is the stability of updates, and since this is a fairly new novel, I will only be giving it 4 stars like all the other new novels I review, as this category isn't applicable yet. After is story development, which I think is at a pretty good pace. It's not the greatest, but it's not the worst either. Like, it doesn't make you want to read each chapter with a fervor like Solo Leveling, but it isn't a slog or a bad read. The pace is fine, and the story so far is creative and unique. A solid 4 stars. The 4th is character design, and well, it's another 4 stars just due to the fact that the protagonist, although has his special features, is made up of like two generic stereotypes. The first is that he's a calculating guy, referred to as a prodigy a lot of times in the novel. The second is that he's courageous and will sacrifice himself to protect his comrades. So, both these make up the main character, making him pretty generic, but, what're you gonna do about it? Most characters on the platform are like this anyways, and I believe that you guys will like him. Also, don't wanna spoil, but he gets a lot more interesting as the story progresses, so read it for that.Lastly, there's the world background, an excellent 5 stars. Honestly, this is the first time that I've heard a story like this, so full points on the uniqueness. Like, all novels on this platform are like, system this, system that, but in this one, the MC is the system, not the host. This presents a certain uniqueness that I hope you all will like. So, overall, a pretty good novel. I would definitely recommend this to someone in passing, and I believe that it has a lot of potential.Good job author!
I Transmigrated as a Prison Guard and Suppressed the Princess is a story about Xiao Ran, someone who became a prison guard and got a cheat that allows him to get various rewards for imprisoning/executing criminals. I can't really say this novel is any good to be honest. It's another one of those novels with a weird synopsis that doesn't really tell you anything, the clickbait form of novels. Translation quality is meh. It's fairly decent compared to some other novels but it isn't that great overall. (4/5 stars)Story development is awful. So, we immediately are thrown into the middle of the story to prevent readers from forming any sort of attachment to the main character. The author only throws us some vague monologues about how the main character transmigrated/got his system. Now, this is basically a typical overpowered main character cultivation novel. He constantly fights super-weak enemies that he can easily one shot, yet somehow this takes multiple chapters. He gets so many rewards it's ridiculous. Aside from that, the main character imprisons the princess. She cultivated a evil technique and will occasionally flare up with evil symptoms. The only way to stop this (apparently) is for the main character to continuously punch her in the face. The first time it happened, it was somewhat amusing. Second time it happened I'm already bored. The fifth time it happened I realized the author was literally just copy and pasting what happened previously. A lot of people will say "author copy and pastes" to show how repetitious the plot is, but the author in this novel literally copy and pastes the same situation over and over again. Furthermore, no one questions why several plots to break into the prison and break someone out mysteriously fail. Not the prison, nor the people on the outside. Everyone just thinks they slipped and died or something. Anyway, super boring, bland, etc. (1/5 stars)Character design isn't great either. Main character is absolutely emotionless. The author pulled out every stop in order to prevent people from forming any sort of attachment with the main character. Aside from that, every character follows typical cultivation plot. An IQ of 60 is considered top-tier genius level where you are basically omniscient. Average IQ is about 10. Theres no character in this novel that is likeable, every character is as bland as the last. Theres nothing to keep you hooked either. (2/5 stars)World background is questionable. We have the land the main character is in, known for not letting any criminal escape from the prison. In forty chapters, theres already been MANY prison escapes that would've happened without the main character. Evil runs rampant in the land so much I wonder how the kingdom even functions. Aside from that, why even have a prison? This is a cultivation world where if the prison failed, there are now hundreds of powerful evil cultivators running rampant with a grudge towards your land. Just kill them. There is no merit to having a prison in the first place. (2/5 stars)Overall, zero thought was put into this novel. It's a mindless overpowered main character cultivation novel. Characters are bland and boring, story makes no sense, and world background is filled with a ridiculous amount of holes. I give this novel 2.8 stars out of 5.
New and a fresh idea. It has around 60 chapters right now. The story, It is very good for me and I hope it continues. And sorry for my bad English.
Spoiler!!!!I got to chapter 177 and here I leave it, at first the novel was great, but then it lacked information for example: what exactly happened with Randy, a summary of the two years that passed, tell the training that he did alone or that he killed a person. Now suddenly the sister appears and they say almost nothing about that, the only thing I have seen is a lot of information about video games, non-existent romance, he talked about acting and he stayed there, as if he had never talked about him. . , and it would have been good if he had had some danger, for example that they tried to kill him and he was injured by bullets or something similar, everything was very quiet thanks to the protection of his grandmother. Thank you anyway
There's really no common sense with this MC. He actually wastes his limited resources on people who almost killed him. It was mentioned in the novel that if he did not see the reaction of one girl, as she was surprised that he was attacked he'd literally be killed.. Then he uses his limited healing potions to actually heal their best fighter? Great logic and thinking here. The girl he actually saves wants to kill him and kill herself because he saw her naked. Its totally extreme. If she has obligation to kill herself because of tradition of her race, she can go ahead and do it, but killing someone who saved her life? Why does he have any obligation to teach people that tried to kill him? They should be grateful if he just left without killing them or punishing them in any way. After that he summons some legendary pet that literally extorts him yet it is his pet.. If you have a pet in any game, you can decide if you want to feed him or give him anything, in some games they can run away if you don't treat them well but requiring rare resources every time they get summoned would never be normal occurrence.
