It's on another level.
Damn.....
This may be one of my favorite Jane Doe books! It’s so hard choose because “she?” is such an amazing author! Dark, mysterious and always with a twist! Ramantasy at its best! This is a must read and I might even have to re-read a second time!
The story exhibits considerable promise, but it's too premature to assign a rating at this stage. I'll provide one after reading more. Up until now, the novel delivers as advertised. Character interactions are its strongest aspect, while world-building could use improvement. Initially, I'd give it 4 stars, leaning towards 3.5.
The translation is flawless, receiving a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. Additionally, the inclusion of a chapter countdown timer is a nice touch. However, there are a few site-related issues: the text color is quite light, but dark mode helps mitigate that. The paragraph correction feature feels unnecessary and slightly annoying. Furthermore, I'm having trouble logging in with my WordPress account.
Overall, I'd rate the novel 4 stars. After continuing with the translated version, my rating remains at 4 stars. While the premise of the protagonist living beyond the cultivation phase is intriguing, the pacing is slow, making it feel like a typical cultivation novel. Some details are overly described, which may be due to my impatience to see the unique aspects of aging and experiencing multiple eras. I'm curious about how the author will handle the current era, as Chinese novels set in our time often struggle with authenticity due to stereotypes. Given the complexity of storytelling beyond the cultivation stage, I believe a 3.5-star rating better reflects the novel's potential future direction.
As one commentator pointed out, the story can either be a light-hearted, sweet tale or a deep, emotional romance. The main character, ML (Male Lead), often displays exasperating behavior, living up to the stereotype of a straight-A alpha with a toxic side – his initial mindset is questionable.
Throughout the novel, the MC (Main Character) exhibits maturity, though his low self-esteem occasionally leads to negative actions. The numerous exes in the summary might seem absurd, but the author effectively portrays various forms of toxic relationships.
Here's a brief overview of the characters:
1. Movie Emperor: Lin Shuo is indecisive, avoiding commitment with Pei Xiao. During a fabricated scandal, he abandons his partner rather than comforting him, allowing the situation to cool down.
2. Sugar Daddy: Huo Beiqian – though designated as a benefactor, there's hints of mutual affection. However, he is arrogant and dismissive of the male omega lover, failing to acknowledge his feelings.
3. Childhood Sweetheart: Zhao Yuanzhuo is a poor choice for first love. As an omega, he faces discrimination and fails to support MC when their relationship is exposed. During MC's struggles, he runs away due to embarrassment and guilt.
4. MC and ML: The ML is a classic straight-A alpha, believing he's infallible and often placing blame on others. Despite being a young Forbes billionaire, he lacks emotional intelligence, causing significant harm to MC's acting career unintentionally. His actions reveal his irresponsibility and create a large emotional gap. MC, with low self-esteem, sometimes behaves legally gray but defends himself. After multiple failed relationships, it's hard for him to trust and be loved.
The trainee character is portrayed as young and vulnerable, offering little chance for development.
While the characters' flaws make the story relatable and realistic, the novel explores the imperfections of love and human nature. The happy ending provides closure, with apologies and misunderstandings resolved. The short length may have resulted in a rushed conclusion; I haven't read the additional content yet.
Overall, the book is enjoyable, with moments of laughter and frustration, showcasing the complexities of relationships.
good point
there is quite a difference between the two, most harems aren't polygamy althought polygamy are harem
Let me correct you there is it may not show up in the category but let me tell you there is if you read it

Omg what a good novel. . .
Never mind wrong novel.
High IQ and a low EQ lol.
I recommend another great novel called Everlasting Immortal Firmament
does anybody know any novel similiar to this? i like to concept of "plagiarising" the original songs/books/games and everything else to another world/reality. Even though it sounds rather common it's pretty unique. I've only seen one other book like this
