This is such a great novel!!! I thoroughly enjoyed reading it; it’s very interesting and fun. This novel definitely deserves a lot more reviews!
I started this story because of the xuanhuan tag and my interest in cultivation. The synopsis drew me in, and honestly, I didn’t expect such an engaging mystery in this story! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I began reading, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how captivating and interesting this story turned out to be. The plot is very well-designed, and the mystery kept getting better.
I am very satisfied with this novel and feel extremely glad that I read it! The main characters are amazing and just so lovely. I felt sad and heartbroken after learning about the tragic background of the male lead. I even cried for him. Some might say the novel isn’t that sad overall, but the tragic parts were truly moving for me. There’s not much ongoing pain, just some when you learn about their backgrounds.
Additionally, I adore Yan Qing and Su Si. It’s a shame they aren’t a couple in the story, but in my heart, they are a true pair, they are canon for me!
P.S. This story doesn’t have any side couples. Only the main couple is there.
I loved everything about this story and definitely recommend it to everyone! Give it a try; it’s very good! It deserves more hype, for real.
- Until my next review ~
Lol my comment talking about how I dropped the novel and picked it up got removed.
Here is a quic breakdown for readers wanting to take this novel on. There are some good parts and bad parts, sometimes you might need to push through chapters. It is a good read though and I would recommend it. Not the top like LOTM or those novels, but a good read to waist time.
the start of the novel might be not intricate and detailed as much as other novels but i love it purrrr go read it guys
This novel isnt for everyone. The begging is extremely slow. And the mc personality can at times annoy you and make you want to drop it. So if you're use to a story with a bit of a quicker development, and a non naive mc then i wouldn't recommend you read this . Especially if your a reader of stories like SS, LOTM, RI. if you read stories like that then you'll dislike this novel A LOT
I really like the last sentence, give you the most tolerant love and help you to spread your wing high. In my opinion, very definition what romance should be.
i want a review for this don't mind spoiler
Mmmmmmmm getting triggered... Why.. Just why.. Why would anyone think they have any room for discussions after violating someone.. Like it was a little slap to the face. Where did this kid's morals go? I thought he was somewhat respectable after being hesitant to even be apart of a robbery...
It's kind off a spoiler but the bigger picture was kind of like a end game kind of thing that all of humanity was working towards. Although not everyone got the full detail, everyone was expected to play their part.
too addictive, once you read one of toika's novel you will read the rest
In summary, this is a low-key, enjoyable story that focuses on a laid-back dungeon management adventure without any pretentiousness. The narration has a slight quirk where the main character (MC) occasionally addresses the reader directly, but overall, the writing and translation are clear.
The first few chapters can feel overwhelming with information, but they serve their purpose when approaching the story with the expectation of a gradual start. The MC's character is unremarkable compared to other novels, which fits the genre's "filler" nature, but that's acceptable.
This isn't a tale of epic battles or intricate plots; rather, it offers simple, straightforward entertainment. The dialogue and relationships are standard for the genre, with each character having their distinct personalities, even if some might appear clichéd.
The magic system relies heavily on imagination, leaving room for creative speculation, which adds an intriguing aspect to the story. It's self-aware, knowing its limitations and embracing them as a relaxing, unassuming read.
In conclusion, if you're seeking an undemanding, cozy read with a touch of creativity, this story will suit you just fine. However, if you crave high-stakes action or complex narratives, this might not be your cup of tea.
