I was absolutely captivated by this extraordinary narrative! It weaves a compelling tale of emotional odyssey and geographical exploration. At its core, it's the story of a spirit on the brink of despair, where hope seems to have vanished. However, a delicate yet playful intervention brings about a profound healing, unveiling an immeasurable and genuine love that reignites the very essence of resilience. The setting is a thought-provoking post-apocalyptic backdrop, while the characters' bond is both realistic and enchanting. This masterpiece tackles heavy themes with grace, ultimately delivering a heartwarming HE (Happy Ending).
But it can.
For the people saying that this is a good novel, it's not. The Mc is an absolute hypocrite, has a god-complex, the character development is nowhere to be found, and he basically f*cks every woman in the novel, except that one team member (that was only because she was married, let's not mention how he mind-controlled her to always obey him...).
.
In hindsight I liked this novel, but looking at it now, it really has a sh*tty story. There were no challenges, 0 character development, the world-building was all over the place, and basically everything was handed over to the Mc.
.
And not to mention that Mykel, the Mc, was a really sh*tty person that learns nothing, and does not care about the atrocities he committed. He never even apologized to what he did to her...
.
For the people that want a hypocritical op Mc that experiences no setbacks, a harem, and smutty scenes, this novel is for you.
.
For the one's that want character development, and good world-building, then this isn't for you.
First it started with anime, that kept me busy for a few years.
Then I started reading Manga/Manhwa/Manhua because watching anime was too slow and that kept me busy for a few years...
Then I thought, 'it sucks I have to wait around a month per new chapter, maybe I should read the light novels' and that kept me busy for a few more years...
Now friends, I am considering learning Japanese, Korean, and Chinese because waiting for translations is also too slow :(
(Maybe you will see me in the future helping with translations ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯)
Well, I have read up to chapter 863, the novel has short chapters, its progress is very slow, it has the problem of short interesting moments of the mc to put chapters to other characters in other events. It also dedicates chapters to random characters who don't contribute anything to the story and the most disgusting thing is put at interesting moments, the vast majority of the chapters for the other relevant characters in the story are very boring and pedantic. My recommendation is above average in cultivation novels but it kills my complaints that I will put a 5 out of 10
5 chaps just dropped.
Guys what's the highest cultivation mc got and also what's the highest his subordinates especially envoys get?
