After the 1st book, it should have ended there? It’s silly for a woman to be able to tolerate a man as insensitive as the lead character. Whose a man in love will abandon a wife to help out another woman and not contact his wife for 2 weeks. Not believable
waiting to find out what omega was taken
a nice story.
Love the comedy/drama in your books. Even if I didn’t enjoy the ML character that much.

The way the author describes Ling Mo's space is honestly chef's kiss. It starts as this empty, vast landscape with a stream, a lake, and a miniature ocean in the distance. Fertile black soil. And then after two months of work, it's transformed — crops growing densely, orchards flourishing, livestock thriving. This isn't just a storage room with benefits, it's an entire ecosystem that she's building from scratch. And the detail about her not being able to grow anything herself (even cacti die) but the space handles it intelligently? That's smart worldbuilding. It gives her a tool without making her invincible. The contrast between the dying world outside and the thriving world inside her space is such a powerful visual. And then there's the mountain villa — buying an entire mountain just for a vacation home. The author doesn't spend pages describing it but that one detail tells you everything about the wealth gap that's going to become so relevant once the apocalypse hits. The new two-story villa with strict community security, the neighbors also stockpiling, the forty-degree heat hitting you the moment you step outside — these scenes are all painted with just enough detail to feel real without bogging down the narrative. The world feels lived-in and dangerous, and I can already picture how claustrophobic it's going to get when the disasters really start.
Loved this book too, although I would love a short one with Jason & Kim's pups arrival in the pack. I'll be looking for Brandon's short story.
Hooked onto the storyline, keep the smut coming!!!
One thing I will give this book the wit is amazing
