This is a GREAT book however they haven't updated in a month so that really sucks
It was nice I wish there is one more about them going to college
A very nice story, i love short novels, long novels are boring
Updates take way too long. I have to go back and re-read part of the book to remember what is going on in the story.
Nice work, how can I give gem's to this book?
Happy to see another creation from u and I believed will be another good one ...
I love the book so far. I can't wait for more chapters
What?!? Okay this book is amazing! I loved it all the way through! But the cliffhanger at the end...?!? I need more!!!
great story! really loved it! there were a few times I wanted to pull out my hair for Astrid's behaviour, but I survived. I don't suppose you have any plans to develop some of the other characters? that last scene with Adam, Nicole and John made me curious. lol!
I need to talk about the stakes here because they are NOT what they seem on the surface. Yes, it's obvious that Song Jinyin is in danger—she's being physically punished, drugged, and humiliated. But the REAL stakes are so much deeper and they hit different. The lotus pond flashback in Chapter 3 changes EVERYTHING. When Pei Yanzhou broke through the ice to save her, he was twelve years old. That moment of genuine care—'everything around them seemed to transform into armor'—makes the present betrayal so much more devastating. The stakes aren't just 'will she survive Ye Wanqiu's slaps.' The stakes are: will Song Jinyin ever believe that anyone in this house is capable of genuine kindness again? That moment of rescue was her last proof that she mattered to someone, and now Pei Yanzhou is systematically destroying that memory. And the Bizi Tang! Think about what it represents. It's not just poison—it's the physical manifestation of her trapped existence. She drinks it because she has no choice. It makes her suffer because her body is not her own. The physician's warning about bearing children becomes 'evidence of her cunning schemes' in Pei Yanzhou's eyes. Every aspect of her survival is weaponized against her. The threat of being sent to 'Qianjin Ge' hangs over everything like a sword. Eight years of gradual erosion—first as a cousin, then as a servant, then as a bed-warmer—and she's still not safe. The stakes keep rising with each chapter. By the end of Chapter 3, when the jade pendant falls and Song Jinyin drags herself away, I was literally holding my breath. What happens when there's nothing left to lose?
Only 2-3 chapters are updated every week. Good story, but updates are very poor.
Beautiful story! I'll read your books after this. Already added five to my library. ?
