Hermes being a gatherer of souls is correct since Hermes is the one who transports souls between the underworld and the normal world. Hes more like the transport and delivery guy so he doesn't exactly "gather and keep" souls but more like gather then send over.

Finished Apotheosis of a demon, I’m now gonna read this and wait for all the Shedy references to show up without an actual appearance from her.
I tried to read this novel for two reasons, 1st because it has few chapters, 2nd because my three favorite novels are by this author, and honestly this novel was pretty boring, it didn't have the same impact as his other novels, my opinion of course
It's interesting so far I'm on chapter 44, and the fl has a strong personality and shes very clever ~she knows how to outsmart all the other characters, especially her 3rd sister. So far no ml -not a problem tbh since it's proven to be less problematic. I would definitely recommend u to read it if u have any question ask away.

I am currently in chapter 37 and want to give my review. The story and world building is good. So far at chapter 37 there is no harem that most of us hate. In my opinion it was good story but I'm gonna stop it there. I cannot feel the goal of the MC. It is just like the MC is playing around because he is overpowered. Even in school he has no goal to become a soldier or researcher. The plot did not even mentioned what's the point of him just assembling and not creating device. All in all as a reader I feel like reading a novel with aimless plot but that is only my opinion. I still recommend though because it is a decent novel in this site.
