great love story ...
best story but please upload new chapters .
I finally finished this excellent book. This storyline, although similar, its has some unique twist and turns. I was not bored at all and I did not find myself skipping through chapters only to get to the back of the book really quickly to decide if I want to read the rest of the book.
I read the whole book twice on the first plateform it was and here I am again reading it again and again here too. it's a masterpiece. an amazing book. Thank you author for writing this
An addicting read. When are we getting rid of Theresa?
Up until Shi Qi calls, I was happily marinating in the romantic tension. The love letter. The gym scene. The car nap. All of it was pure, delicious slow-burn romance and I was living my best life. Then the phone rings and the genre shifts from romance to psychological thriller in approximately four seconds. Let me just lay out what Shi Qi knows, because the stakes here are absolutely terrifying: 1. He knows Qin Ya has amnesia. 2. He knows she and Shi Jianchuan are close now. 3. He knows she depends on him and loves him. 4. He has 'items' hidden somewhere that could destroy everything. 5. If he dies, those items go straight to Qin Ya. This is not a father asking for money. This is a hostage situation where the hostages are Qin Ya's peace of mind and Shi Jianchuan's happiness, and the weapon is information. The text describes Shi Jianchuan's reaction with such precise violence: 'The killing intent radiating from Shi Jianchuan erupted instantly.' Not fear. Not anger. Killing intent. This man has killed before—'just like five years ago'—and he's warning Shi Qi that he'll do it again. The fact that Shi Qi is still breathing is the only reason Qin Ya is still living a normal life. But here's what keeps me up at night: Shi Jianchuan doesn't tell Qin Ya any of this. He hangs up. He comes back to her. He discusses the Gemstone collaboration like nothing happened. He lets her dry his hair and flirt with his abs while his father is out there plotting to destroy her world with a single phone call. The suspense is excruciating because we know something she doesn't. Every sweet moment between them is now shadowed by this threat. When she says 'I love you so much,' we hear the counterpoint: 'I have a father who could ruin everything.' When she watches him sleep, we wonder: would she still love him if she knew what he's capable of? What he's already done? And that love letter—now it takes on a completely different meaning. Is it just a romantic artifact, or is it evidence? Proof of obsession? Proof of something worse? Shi Qi has 'items.' Could the letter be one of them? The stakes just went from 'will they get together' to 'will her entire world survive intact.' And I am not ready for any of this.
At this juncture, my speculation is that she might ultimately end up with the three primary characters - the high priest, the crown prince, and the merchant tycoon. There's also a possibility of the antagonist, the demon prince or some magical figure. I believe she could potentially be with any one of them, or even all four. However, regardless of the outcome, I suspect she'll remain within the temple, serving as a saintess. It's unfortunate, but personally, I'd prefer for her to have a successful escape. Nevertheless, the story has been quite engaging, and overall, I've enjoyed it. Ultimately, I'm open to whatever the narrative decides.
I know the translation isn't good, but I didn't make the cliffhangers and the novel is completed with 345 chapters, it's already fully translated.✌️
Thx for the heads up bro
