alright lets see what this novel has got, hopefully it's good but I can tell you from experience that a lot of things can go wrong in 2000+ chapters super gene was like this, it was nice at the start but started messing up more and more along the way, but hey, the comments are good despite it having 2000+ chapters so thats a great sign but then why would it still be at rank 200? oh well, enough thinking, lets dive in.
Oh I just started reading and I already found something I don’t like. I just came of off desolate era and every technique there is described in how he found it, mastered it, and even improved upon it. Here the author is just like [Oh btw he mastered this Supersonic spell a couple months ago]. No insights, no training no nothing. Really ruins a big part of Xianxia for me. I will probably deduct 1.5 stars from my final review if this keeps happening.

I just completed reading, and... it was a bumpy ride. The most annoying thing of all has to be that the author simply suffers of amnesia, either that or the translator writes whatever he wants — but that's probably not the case since even the translator leaves some notes correcting the author in some chapters. Way too many plot holes.
Aside from that, the novel suffers from the "unreasonable syndrome" problem. Let's just say that if there's 100 characters, then 99 are straight up imbeciles that think with their butts.
Character development is very poor, and that's mainly because of the author's amnesia — he even forgets the name of one of the wives at the end and changes it, can't be more laughable than that.
Also, forget the tag "romance", because as I said above, the author just forgets about the characters and they appear once every 1k chapters for 2 lines of dialogue.
The MC is alright I guess, he could be considered what sort of saves this novel from being garbage... Shrug

Yo, this man is simping! I got to chapter 290, It's a mostly good story. Lots of time skips, and half the fights are ass, but I was here for it! Research, fight, learn, grow stronger, rinse and repeat. But this "romance" is sickening. It flips the table on the entire character Grimm/Glenn has developed through the entire story. I'm especially pissed because this story has some kernels of greatness, goddamn!
I had always wondered what it would be like if a murderer or a bad guy was reincarnated and not a shut in otaku. After all, they are both good and bad Gods or in this case, Devil...
I love this kind of story so much. The ML has both brain and power, he always outsmarts some characters and fights well. It is so fun and worth reading. The lead always impresses me, he's so cool and funny at the same time. I may sound like a simp (lol) but he makes the overall of this novel perfect.
